Even in 2006 rulesets varied to some extent, it wasn't exactly unified. I'm going to try to dig up "The Mages Ruleset" that we used at our events though, i'll be sure to post it here if I find it.

Mlg ruleset was random first game from the neutral 6 (fd, bf, fod, ys, dl, ps) with one mulligan per person. The counter pick stages were different for every event, iirc. I remember MLG Chicago had green greens legal
