Ok, so my first time entering a tournament sucked. lol. But I still had fun and learned alot about Brawl and it's play style.

GDX: You have nice monkey. Can not wait to play with it again. ;)

xYz: Good matches. Finally got to play your Ike and I learned alot about some setups and combos. Thanks. Your G&W is a-vary nice aswell. lol. And the match where you played Wolf you should've won. GG all the way around.

Hiroshi: You have a very good Kirby. I surprised that you didn't suck me off. Your Pikachu is on it's way as well. GG.

Force: That was great match we had. Very close, just like I likes it. If I had won our match up, I would have forfeit the tournament. You deserved to win the match no matter what. You were clearly the better player. More Ganondorf dittos in the future for sure.

HungryBox: I likes a your Dedede. It has nice toe. lol. We had good match and look forward to playing you again. BTW, I'm glad you dug the beard. lol. A beard is a sign of metal \m/! lol. Here's a pic for you. lol. Complete with EPIC METAL HAND and BEARD!!!

To everyone else I played: GG. See you guys at the next tourney where ever that may be.

Good show Manko. Can't wait for the next.

Something about Mankosuki not everyone knows:

Down in Mexicali
There's a crazy little place that I know
Where the drinks are hotter than the chili sauce
And the boss is a cat named Joe

He wears a red bandana, plays a blues piano
In a honky-tonk, down in Mexico
He wears a purple sash, and a black moustache
In a honky-tonk, down in Mexico

Well, the first time that I saw him
He was sittin' on a piano stool
I said "Tell me dad, when does the fun begin?"
He just winked his eye and said "Man, be cool."

He wears a red bandana, plays a blues piano
In a honky-tonk, down in Mexico
He wears a purple sash, and a black moustache
In a honky-tonk, down in Mexico

All of a sudden in walks this chick

Joe starts playing on a Latin kick

Around her waist she wore three fishnets

She started dancin' with the castanets

I didn't know just what to expect

She threw her arms around my neck

We started dancin' all around the floor
And then she did a dance I never saw before.

So if you're south of the border
I mean down in Mexico
And you wanna get straight,
Man, don't hesitate
Just look up a cat named Joe.

He wears a red bandana, plays a blues piano
In a honky-tonk, down in Mexico
He wears a purple sash, and a black moustache
In a honky-tonk, down in Mexico

me and my crew have consistantly been able to find tournaments twice a month, but we are willing to drive 4 hours most of the time.

between Orlando and jaxonville, we could probobly gatehr a lot of smash players an host a tournament sometime soon.

would any1 be interested in a tournament in the palm coast or St.Augustine areas? I know of some places that would rent out a pretty good sized Air conditioned space for about 100$ or so a night.

we could setup up some organized things if ppl are willing to do 5$ at the door, bring tv's and consoles.

well, palm coast isnt as far as jacksonville, and i'd drive to jacksonville, so sure, i'd come to a tourney in that area. (I actually dont know where palm coast is on a map, but i do know its like an hour from jacksonville or something like that?)

Vids Update

Yesterday was my day off, and I wanted to rest so I didn't spend all day working on the vids. As of right now, ive encoded the winners finals (just have to upload them) and encoding the losers finals now. each match takes like 10 minutes to encode, so that'll be done within an hour or so. The gay part is uploading to youtube, which can range anywhere from 20-30 minutes before its uploaded, depending on how flaming they want to be that day. Shamelessly enough, i did encode and upload me and force 1 set each =P

Done:
-Force vs Anger
-GDX vs Dect
-xYz vs hungrybox winners finals

To Do:
-hungrybox vs gmoney losers finals
-xyz vs hungrybox grand finals, set 1 (comp ****ted out during set 2 >.>)
-RxYz vs Rapeman Jenkins doubles grand finals
-gmoney vs gdx
-fearless vs godmeowmix
-fearless vs gdx
-kamano vs hiroshi
-xyz vs pink

I apologize for the quality, and the apparent fast motion. Just think of it as you watching a melee match. And as for some of the finals matches starting during the match...well, they just didnt wait, lol. From now on, i think imma bring my entire desktop (tower, flatscreen monitor and all) to tourneys to record on one tv. That way, it wont record in fast motion, it will look better, and it will have the original sound.

also, everyone please try to make it out to All Day Brawl Day... I think you'll really like the venue.

i'd usually use dscaler, but be careful. each 3 stock match takes up like 1-1.5 gigs of space uncompressed

And I've encoded winners finals, losers finals, and the 1st set of grand finals now. I just have to put them up on youtube. Ill be doing the grand finals for teams next, then all of the random singles

Rather than lugging your desktop and all of your recording equipment to tourneys maybe use a vcr to do the initial recording then do all of the encoding at home... I think thats what I'm going to do.

...wow, thats like the best idea ever. why didnt I think of that. its so simple o.o

vcr's are probably cheap as *** too. I can easily go buy one and like 6 blank tapes

i <3 you lobo

this will suffice until one day where i can afford a kickass laptop

nah forget flyers in melee thats partially what made brawl ghey....flyers just promote the lack of edge play in brawl, which was like one of the funnest parts of playing melee

The only thing that promotes lack of edge play in brawl is the auto-sweetspotting mechanic. Period.
nah dude wario can edge play most every1 pretty bad regardless of the sweet spot...but the fact is that there is absolutely no edge play against meta knight...u bring your character to the middle of the stage and wait for him to stop spamming up b and finallly come back...same thing with pit its lame..
