Next tournament I'm going to is the one I'm hosting on the 22nd for MLG. I'll have fantastic counter-picks, and I hope I can do well. Expecting tons of people to come! -crosses fingers.- I'll do my best!

The past 2 tournaments Ive been to have had poor attendance, due to April being more of a "vacation" month in Panama. I'll post results in a bit anyway.
Then I got a local on the 15th, and 2 regionals, 23rd and 29th (my birfday<3). I expect good results coming in. xD

i still think g&w is semi-viable :D
he will rise once people start using
more metamindgames
more random

he just needs an extra help, like
the opponent is forced to listen to Flat Zone(melee) while he plays
the g&w may downtaunt at any given time, pause the game and yell MOTHA****AAAAAAAAAAASS

just trust me you guys, im supercereal.

Yeah. I practice with MKs who like to plank and not approach really. It's annoying. But as long as you have the lead you can be patient and make them approach you.

Honestly, that's kind of Brawl, though. Just a lot of patience. And a lot of thinking. Just think right and try and counter what they're doing. "They're doing this. Hrm. I should try and do this." And go for it, see if it works. If it does; great. If it doesn't back to the drawing board.

After playing people where it just times out I really just found myself in a big ball of thinking. "What should I do? What could I do and not get punished by it?" etc.

Also IMO,it is impossible to get any sort of lead against a really patient MK. lol
and even if you do get the % lead,somehow,they still won't approach you lol

Though the good thing about it is that all their kills on you will probably be around 140+since they will spend most of their time nadoing,fairing, or dtilting. Overall when fighting a really campy/planky MK,expect to have the higher percentage throughout the entire match but don't let it get to you though,be patient and remember that G&W can still kill him early.


edit: Also really think about your approaches. Even if it means both of you standing at opposite ends for several seconds lol. You got all the time in the world.

Welp, you have to take into consideration that when I joined Smashboards a lot of you guys knew things that you didn't know two years ago. So I kind of got lucky to already have a lot of info and things I can with GnW as soon as I joined instead of not knowing and learning awhile later.

And no! I didn't save any videos. I probably should have but I would have felt bad or odd to save the replays. XD I think I should learn to start doing that, though.
