I can imagine a trailer being something like "Sun, Moon, and Stars" with Isaac fighting Skull Kid, then Geno interrupting the fight.
Also a Gen 7 Pokémon because the title.

Not sure if Skull Kid will be announce at this Direct, but I would say with much confidence to not listen to that "leaker" saying he is a boss. Only thing the guy has ever gotten truly correct was the date of the March Direct, and everything they said would appear in it did not happen. Guy spends almost all the time now defending all his mistakes. His ratio of right to wrong is very low, he has only gotten like 1.25 things correct, so seriously dont worry about him being a boss, and dont be surprised when we see this leaker guy defending how there was a "mishap" getting the info.

I just can't see Skull Kid as a boss unless it's done in a way where he's playable as well.
Since you never fight Skull Kid himself in MM, I can't imagine Sakurai making him the boss and not just the mask, especially if he has as much attention to detail as we all believe.

I had an idea in my head that - first time progressing through Spirit Mode - various villain playable characters would pop out following a boss fight for you to defeat - Bowser would demorph from Giga Bowser, Wolf would jump out of a Wolfen, Grima would be sucked back inside a possessed Robin, and Skull Kid would revert from Majora's Wrath (etc). First time playing through Spirit mode, this is how you unlock villainous characters.

Even though I don't believe that Skull Kid will be playable and that the chairs' theory is wrong, I think that tomorrow is the perfect day to prove me wrong. If Skull Kid is revealed tomorrow, all of the Smash Community wil have to admit that you did something great by bringing up the chairs' theory. Skull Kid may not be my most wanted newcomer (my favorite got announced at the last direct), he's still very iconic and deserve to be in Smash Bros. I'll be happy to see him, I'm sure his trailer could be incredible.

I love how wholesome character fanbases are this time, with Smash 4 they could be pretty cold towards each other (Gematsus vs non-Gematsus for example), and in Brawl there was straight up war between several of them, now everyone's sending good luck messages to each other instead. This is such a nice change of pace, and it makes me root for every one of the current five fan favorites (Skull Kid, Geno, Bandana Dee, Isaac, Banjo), which makes speculating that much easier for me despite having gotten my most wanted some time ago.

Just got home from school to hear the news of a direct, this could be Skull Kid's time, crossing my fingers for our boy, and perhaps a Impa echo?

I like how wholesome this community is. I've been a part of character anticipations that got nasty as others attempted to deconfirm each others theories.
That said I was thinking of how SK would play if announced. what if he was a trap based character that would leave Hexes on the arena. He himself would be a weaker character but would weaken the competition to gain he upper hand.

Yeah, there were a lot of fights in the past, that sucked. Now, speculating is a lot more fun because many communities are finally united.

Oh god oh god oh god, please don't let everything let me down.
Everything is pointing towards Skull Kid and I'm not sure I can handle. Directs at a pretty good time though, for me anyway. I'll watch it before going in.
But I really don't want to be dissapointed, not after all this buildup, all this teasing, struggling to try and keep this place still talking about the guy before the Smash Direct happened. It's all lead us to now. This isn't quite a do or die, but so many leaders are leaning towards now for Skull kid, so I feel his chances will take a bit of a guy if it's not him. But I won't lose faith, I kept telling myself Skull Kid was the best choice for a Zelda character, he was MY choice for a Zelda character, He was my choice for any character. It's literally dawn of the Final Day here for me. Just over 24 (25)hours to go.

I stumbled upon this last night and it was some beautiful work. I went to school for music and can truly appreciate the work behind this one. I take this as a sign. Waiting for news on the next direct and this morning was announced for tomorrow. THIS is a weird circumstance!

There’s actually another credible leaker that points to us getting Isaac and another that says we’re getting Isaac AND Skull Kid. As for the source well I saw a youtuber make video on it so I don't have it.

I can't do much on mobile here but if you search Skull Kid Smash Bros and look into recent videos you'll see it. Also it makes a lot of sense since Isaac represents the sun and Skull Kid the moon.

This could be the moment. I'm expecting one newcomer at most and I'd say Skull Kid has a decent shot. If he doesn't show up tomorrow, things are going to get complicated.
Also, I doubt they are going over a potential story mode. Wouldn't it make more sense to talk about the online features instead?

Remember this is a Nintendo direct, not a Smash direct. The direct is only 35 minutes long, so I'd be surprised if the Smash portion was any more than 10-15 minutes.
I don't think we're getting more than one newcomer tomorrow. Maybe an echo if we're lucky.

Around 3 years ago I did my Young Link from HW outfit.
Made the Keaton Mask, Fierce Diety Mask and Kokiri Blade!
If Skull Kid gets in Ill make the Majora's Mask to celebrate!

I agree that hints are pointing to Skull Kid but if he's not revealed tomorrow, hope remains nonetheless. There are probably a couple of directs remaining before Ultimate release. Even if the worse happens we'll be there to cheer you up and keep the hype alive
and if the best happens we'll also be there to blow this thread into an Hyplosion of Hype.Brace yourselves one final day until this direct.
