You are very good. One thing I noticed is that you almost never utilt or ftilt, ftilt is very good, and utilt isn't bad. I only saw one utilt against afro thundah.

When Snake lays you down, why doesn't anyone roll behind him? I don't see the options snake has that can be that effective. I think it wasn't a good idea in this level because the platform would have stopped the roll and snake would have been in range to f tilt, but still.

Because most people roll and its usually slow enough to see and punish. By doing something irregular, it threw off Afro a bit.

If you do that Snake can easily ftilt behind him, that thing has good range you know >_>

yeah, that's what I figured. That makes me sad. The only thing I can think of doing is a get up attack which obviously is also not a good option, mixing it up is truly the only way.

i think you lean in too much agains the snake and leave your body open where your sword should be, marth can pressure snake pretty well but you didnt pressure him and he was allowed more options than he actually has

okay, i'll be sure to take all that advice and the "needless jumping" is a spacing tactic that i use, it helps me land tippersand i feel safer in the air rather on the ground against snake.

the use of ftilt is pro-only, non-pros aren't invited.

Ftilt has it's usages as a fast wide-ranged defensive/spacing tool. It's tip region reaches to the platforms above on battlefield for example, and that same tip region protects Marth greatly from short hop approaches.

Wow, those marth dittos were to be admired. They were epic and fun to watch. It was funny to see you shrink your shield like that after u KO'ed the the other marth. It was also nice to see u finish him off with f-smash in both dittos. The only thing i questioned was your use of the dair. I dont fault you for using it but when u did, the situation didnt look like you were going to land a spike. But hey, im one to talk since i use diars offstage more than the average marth also. Maybe you should use bair more offstage since it would be fresh since it wasnt used much. Anyway, nice marth, nice videos, thx for the lulz. (edgeguarding fail = Dolphin Slash stagespike to face )

i have to, i was thinking of my other marth players out there so i decided to make that match worth it, i can't say the same about the match on BF lol, thats me not caring...but i've been switching it up lately playing alot of other characters but marth is definitely my favorite among the rest

yeah, i've broken alot of shields and its a trademark of mine, if you watch the match against afro on delfino i broke his and if you watch the one on final D against chaz i actually did what i always do, shield breaker (shield breaks) up taunt then fully charged shield breaker, its a trademark of mine, i do it everytime i break someone's shield

Lol, u remind me of SeraSmash. He was the first person to actually break my shield with shieldbreaker (oh yea, i need to add him to my list too ) He up taunted and killed me just like you do. Needless to say i finished him off soon afterwards with my signature spike to "dair to dunk" side taunt (version 2.0 now has "C'mon, I Dair You") then proceeded to shatter his shield and return the favor.

Lol, you made gimping pit look like childs play . There were a lot of sexy moments in that video (seeing snake get edgehogged made me smile). Give that diddy an epic hi5 for me since he did that character proud. Looks like im going in the right direction with my marth because u did some of the same things i would have done (basics and a few of those sexy kills). I still got a ways to go thought im sure. You wont 3 stock me or sumthing but u will probably get the 1st kill. I would post the video of me and sera but i need to record it with my camera first (iono the whole sd card thing yet). It was a wifi match a few months ago so my marth was rather weak (but it was a nice match non-the-less.

Trust me i know how it feels to have a weak marth, i actually quit him at one point because i got so angry cuz i felt like i couldn't kill anything, i fought a computer marth and lost to him and that was the last straw, i had officially quit him for about 2 or 3 tourneys but, i thought about it and i decided to make a new marth i use to play white marth but now i play green (which is suppose to represent a new beginning) here's my old weak marth, my friend made this video its okay could have been better

Eh, you don't really play Marth dittos very technical. Did you know Marth can Bthrow to Fsmash Marth for percent combo from 0. If done near an edge, hitting the Marth merely one time may gimp him, if you have the appropriate patience, etc.

Your Marth style is pretty different than mine in some ways actually. I like to play slightly more technical, but I'd say you play very well.

You don't use Uair enough. I recently started incorporated this into my game. Marth's juggle (as you know, since you used it against that Snake) is AMAZING.

Breaking a shield demands a taunt. I have always taunted after breaking a shield, but i never used to break shields at all.

I always thought Utilt was amazing and Ftilt was okay... I'll have to experiment with them again.
