Epic mindgames: He thought I was going to hit him when I landed from the SH so he dropped his shield, then when he realized I was going full charge he puts a desperation shield up.

It works enough to consider using it even in a tournament. You gotta trick them into playing defense (if they aren't already) then chances of landing it skyrocket.
