Marth glitch?

I was experimenting with some things in the online lobby room, and when I used Upb to grab the ledge, Marth instead did his standup animation and started falling. I still retained my Upb, but I couldn't recreate it to see if I still had the second jump.

Not exactly useful IMO, but interesting.

Edit: I looked around the Wolf boards, and apparently his recovery is able to do it too (albeit far more often). While I'm at it, is there an official name for this? >_>

The search function goes as slow as hell. I waited 5 minutes for it to load, then said screw it.
And I have read quite a few topics on this board, so don't go telling me that I haven't read anything.

With that in mind, I'll be posting in that thread you linked me too.

Well I don't think you should call him a *****, but he at least speaks for a couple of ppl who are getting annoyed that Marth forums despite having 3rd highest number of threads that most of them are redundant.

Also to OP if you really "read around" you would have realized there is a simple question, simple answer thread. You could have posted there.

Also yes search function is a little slow, but really 30 second is longer than you think, same for 5 minutes. Its just the world around you that makes you think it is "slow" but 5 minutes is nothing compared to days it would take to send letters you know? So be patient and look around the other forums while waiting.

What most people aren't aware of (because it's so rare and hard to really do it everytime or when wanting to)... is that you can LAND on the ledge after the **** up, or do a forward b (to let you grab the edge), a fair etc. Or if you properly land on the stage you can go straight into an fsmash or similar. SCARY HUH?

ive done this alot of times unintentionally, i think it can be used for mindgames ;P, doesn any 1 know how to actually do it? idk if this is right but i smashed b up 2 times in a row or somethn like that to preform it, i have no evidence but that is the only thing close to 1/999th of a lead i have on this lol
