Marth Combos?

Hi everyone! I've been working on my marth as a counter for the characters that outrange my mains (G&W and pika both have rather short range on their attacks). What are some popular combos that marth users employ in their game? G&W has a nice dthrow combo that can rack up 30%+ and pika also nice a nice dthrow combo that can rack up 30-50%, depending on the character. I know marth doesn't have a good grab/throw game, but are there any useful grab combos? I've searched the threads and read the stickies, but I couldn't find a list of combos.

There's no list of combos because combos don't exist.

Just use mk if you need a counter imo

well, they technically don't exist, but there are probably many "combos" that are hard to escape/work well.

I hate MK, you hate MK, MK hates MK. Do I make myself clear?

Sure they do, just not A: in many chars only like a few, and B: most consist of 2-3 moves. Some ppl don't consider those combos, but denotatively, they are. Marth is not really one of those true combo chars.

lol, this thread name is going to make everyone here so mad. Isn't the only legit combo throw - F smash?

Pretty much Marth -essentially- only has one good 0-30%ish combo.

Non-tippered fair low to the ground, dancing blade.
Only works at low percents, and the player can avoid it with teching.

Sometimes you can do non-tippered fair, to dtilt to dancing blade, with the same restrictions above implied.

People go overboard with the combos. The definition of a combo is a string of attacks that all land in a row. Ken combo still exists, and if you string moves together then thats fine. A combo is a combo.

By your definition I could say LAWL I COMBO'D YOU TO 120%! THERE WERE JUST A FEW BREAKS WHERE I WOULD STOP ATTACKING YOU AND SOMETIMES YOU WOULD ATTACK ME LAWL

Umm... No, the definition of a combo in brawl is a string of attacks that hit one after another that are not escapable.

Steel, thats not true, marth got so many combo moves, such as,

F smash - follow grab - f throw - follow DB- and SB

Play Lucario or somthin

Eh, sometimes, Dtilt to Dancing Blade is a combo. Sometimes Dtilt to Fair is a combo. Sometimes Fair to dtilt is a combo. Jab to jab is a combo. Fair to ftilt is a combo sometimes. Uair to Usmash/utilt can be a combo. Fair to Dancing Blade can be a combo. Uair to Dolphin Slash can be a combo if the Uair is autocancelled (not advised.) Dair to Usmash is a combo if you Dair someone through the lower platform on Battlefield, and tip. Fthrow to grab is a combo. Dthrow to grab can be a combo. Dancing Blade is a combo. Fthrow to Fsmash is a combo. Dthrow to Fsmash can be a combo. Dtilt infinitely combos against a wall, and combos into many other things. Under the stage, First hit of Dancing Blade to Dolphin Slash/Fair is virtually a combo, since the option of airdodging is nullified.

Of course, this is dependent on opponent characters and percentages. Also, by using walls, ceilings, or items, there are many more combos.
