Yeah I'm trying to use it a bit more. I just feel like it isn't something I should stale that often. I'll have to get over that thought, thanks.I think you need to Up-smash more Kirin (especially vs Ike), but srsly, good games.
I disagree. You don't need to be fast to be good, you only need to be smart.Good mario, just move faster...
From the videos I watched, you have a solid foundation, however there is a ton of room for improvement.Video Link -Opponent(Character) |Level

Yeah, I definitely see what you're saying. My biggest problem is rolling behind the opponent when they come back from losing a stock. All of my friends that I play consistently punish that. They just come back, walk up to me, and turn around. It's actually a really hard habit for me to break lol. However, I have to break out of it, or I will be eating Snake's free up tilt every time. I'll work on my approach game also. I'll have to try that cape on Snake's shield tidbit. Seems like it could work. Those matches with HRNut, I was nervous as hell cause he's a top 10 player here in FL. I'll try to focus more, be less predictable, and read my opponents better. Thanks for the tips.I disagree. You don't need to be fast to be good, you only need to be smart.

First of all, your approach game is non-existant. You have no reliable means of getting inside your opponent's range, and thus you force yourself into a game of dancing and baiting, waiting to land the Fsmash. That's a fine strategy in itself, but it appears that it's all you can do! Any opponent who will analyze your Fsmash range, timing, and setup will tear you apart. You need to find a way to get inside your opponent.
Solid examples of this occuring are the matches vs HRNut. As soon as he plays 'walking Snake', you have no idea what to do and simply jump and throw out a couple bairs in hopes that he will get caught. Get inside more! Rack up that damage and get him off the ground!
Here are a couple ideas: you don't approach with fireballs enough, you only use them to stall the opponent. Try jumping forward while tossing a fireball, and then run after it. Fireball flanking is an excellent method of getting into your opponent, and if timed right will give you a free shot at their shield, where you can try to read the reaction. You should also try more SH cape. Done on Snake's shield, you can then make it into a guessing game where he has to try and figure out if you'll land in front or behind him, or if you'll attack directly. Be careful, as his jab is a fantastic anti-air and he may try to snipe you if he starts getting wise. I actually came up with that cape stuff recently (no, I didn't 'invent' it, I just found it useful), so if you decide to try it out please let me know how it works, there may be some flaws I have to watch out for.
I know how profitable rolling inside the opponent can be, but try to break that habit. You get punished too much for your own good. If you're pushed to the edge, DO NOT fall for that trap, they are just waiting for that roll! Better to claw your way back in inch by inch.
Lastly, try to have a less predictable close-range game. Every time I see someone get inside your range, it's sidestep->smash. You need to read them better, otherwise your opponent will sidestep your smash and you'll get merked.
I hope these tips help a bit, good luck!

Matador, I got that ledge trick from watching Boss at APEX. I forget who he was playing be I saw him do it and thought it was really good. It is since the fireball landing as no lag so you can do whatever you want after it.
I admit that my edgeguarding was pretty embarrassing in hindsight. I didn't do a good job on it at all.Nice Mario, Guy. Just wondering though, when Dedede was cancelling his up b to get to the edge, why didn't you FLUDD him? Does it not work? I only tried it once, but I got it to work that time.
