It's essentially this.
Any attack with forward momentum does this. You hit Fox's shield which pushed Mario back to the edge and canceled the attack. As for the D-air, you weren't pushed all the way off, so you pretty much were able to hover back onto the stage since you didn't accidentally fast fall.

I Had a Yoshi in my pool but idk if it was King Yoshi..I 2-0ed the Yoshi though....
And yea, I got gayed in 2nd Round Pools...Mk,Mk,Mk, Famous...The person who made the pools even made fun of me saying "enjoy your MK's"
Most of the matches went down to last hit...It just seems like MK moves>Mario/Luigis moves...
Lost the 1st Match in doubles as well...Not really too happy about that either but oh well tomorrow is a brand new day...
EDIT: King Yoshi was in Boss pool and he took a game off of Boss in 1st round pools....I could have gotten 2nd seed if i 2-0'ed dmbrandon...which I was suppose to...I tripped into a dsmash 2nd game...

I think Mario can handle is own versus Metaknight. Just play it smart, lots of Fireball's. I don't think MK is that bad for Mario.

Camping is starting to get ineffective...Good MK's are seriously bad for Mario...
I seriously had to pull out random tricks just to close the gap in terms of stock advantage...I wont be happy with this MU until I can figure out a way to actually lead in stock instead of trying to keep up...

Metaknight needs to be banned.
There is no other character in the game that has across the board favorable matchups like that character, and there is also no other character who can stall like him either.
Since M2K officially proved that MK vs Snake is 52/48 in MK's favor...seriously.

Seriously...Everyone here either mains or seconds MK. There were even 2/3 MKs in my 1st round pools...Everywhere I turned was an MK...Out of about 11 random friendlies, 7/11 mained MK...
The bad/par mks got ***** while the decent/good ones practically 1/2 stocked me...
One MK i played completely shut me down somehow...I don't even remember what the hell happened.

See this is why I picked up Snake to handle him since last year instead of going Mario on him.
People are starting to find ways around Mario's camping, and Mario's at a pretty large disadvantage when he's close since his sword > anything you can throw out (unless you outrange him). Mk feels like the only character that forces you to pick him up or use snake.
Pretty much your only option.
I feel like MK can really help people who are less skilled win, he's that bad.

just looked at boss's bracket, hes doing really well, boss has to play hunger i think hes a wario player? than after that, he has to play seibrik a MK/D3 from FL, assuming he wins against hunger hopefully >_> ugh.

This is why MK won't be banned. You can't get a majority vote for this because anybody who uses MK will vote against the ban. A lot of people would stop playing brawl also.
With Pound 4, I'm a bit upset with the brawl brackets. There are so many people eliminated. Really good players like Armada, Snakeee, and Dark.Pch.

I barely use mario, but when i do, i rock him like nothin else, i really like that down aerial
but many of his other moves have good priorty, id use him more if i could play
as fast as some of the mario players here, i used to main him in melee though,

Hunger is from WI, and he's a really really really good player from the MW if he actually plays to the best of his ability. (I've heard/seen him sandbag in singles.)
He plays Wario generally, but I've seen him use Mario before for lulz.
