In NJ, you aren't allowed to coach during matches. But between rounds they can say stuff. It's a new rule and I think coaching shouldn't be allowed. If I was coached by Pierce he would be criticizing everything. "Why didn't you bair? Why are you using cape? Why are you using Usmash to kill and missing?" I'm over exaggerating but he coaches people a lot and when he is helping me he says a lot which is helpful, but he says it about a lot (watch him find me post this and get pissed)
NJ mostly care about palying dirty and gay to win. Thats what that state is. For god sakes that is a state packed with Meta knights.
That's why most of the community confuses me. People love the infinites n planking but **** all over the lower tier, lesser used characters
Lets just said I had NJ people talking lots of **** and coaching against this snake player I had to face in losers. Peach vs Snake is nothing to me at all. I fear mid tier characters more than that fool.
WHOA! You people are talking mad **** about my state. Dark.Pch is right about it being MK central and favor higher tier characters, some of us coach a lot, we ban stages that I think shouldn't be (I'd wanna play on PS2, Pictochat, and maybe norfair for certain characters), and honestly some players that are better than me say some things I say about my own character are wrong. I apparently have "noob mentality" because I think Mario is capable of mid tier. I also said FLUDD was helpful and Atomsk said it was bad. His defense was that since Boss doesn't use it, its bad. I don't care what other people use. I use what I wanna use.

Sometimes like here on the boards I can be stubborn if I firmly believe something and not persuaded enough out of it, but that's probably as much of an ******* as I am. I'm not an *** about how I play either. I take a loss, whether I think I could've won if I played smarter, didn't SD, etc. Of course I'm not happy that I lost, but I take it sometimes as an opportunity to help me. I lost to a TL a couple of weeks ago and he told me some things I did that gave him a little edge.
All in all, some of the are high level players which are normally the well known ones are *******s. I'm nowhere close since I've only been to like 5 tournies maximum. I like having a good time. I actually might see if I can go to Pound 4. I have no idea what I'm doing that weekend though. Too bad state law sucks and says you can't drive out of state until youre 18. If I could, I would so be there if my parents say its ok.
