MK Ban was gonna be the best thing to happen to Mario. Now everyone is whining that their win button is gone and I'm seeing MK legal popping up everywhere, or at least everywhere near me. What's a Mario to do?

(Hint: It has something to do with the activity of the Mario boards)

That is the freest Snake. But yeah, I'm no good at critique myself, so there wasn't a lot I can pick out. Needs more dair, your bair was getting so stale it hurt to watch it connect sometimes. I liked your fireball game, but it soon got pretty predictable, and I've had Snake's chuck grenades at me in the air for faster, more accurate damage(with the obvious chance of explosions to make your day worse).

By the way I was looking for critique over in the video thread. I'm not entirely sure where we're supposed to drop critique requests myself.

You'd think that with 600+ people on at any given moment on Smashboards that we'd see more than a couple posts a day here on the Italian Plumber's niche.

Well, to be honest I'd like someone to actually look over my tournament matches so I know if I'm even able to talk about Mario within reason. I may main the plumber, but if I'm no good than, y'know, I'm just gonna be lurkin' like I have been. No reason to talk crap if I can't back it up, y'know.

it is the passion for the character,ah say ah say, that brings a board to new heights on da ROOOOOOLLLIN HILLS of smashboards.

Hey man, I gotta drive more'n a couple hours to get in any Smash whatsoever, so I held a tournament myself and brought in folks around me. In fact, the largest tournament I went to is a good four hours from me - that very same place is four hours from yourself, steep, and they're holding another tournament in March(Phoenix Saga, Ann Arbor).

In fact, there was a tournament 3 hours drive from you in Louisville recently that my friend went to - it's really not that long of a drive - especially if you can score some housing.

Although color me surprised they're nothing of a smash scene in Indianapolis or Dayton. Hell, Columbus isn't all that far from you either, just two and a half. You just gotta commit yourself a little more if you actually care to play.

It has seriously taken my car breaking down itself to stop me, and even then I've only actually missed one tournament.

...Hell, Phoenix Saga 1, my tire blew out, and I made the risky decision to soldier on a donut. That 8 AM tire buying status. I keep that PoS tire I bought as a memento of that trip.

This guy seriously knows what is up. I've seen absolutely no flaws in his reasoning, he may be another version of myself. Except less awesome.

Also Steep, there will never be tournaments in Northern Indiana. It's something you will have to live with. There hasn't been one in Indy in forever, either.

You just gotta commit yourself a little more if you actually care to play.

You know, I drove 12+ hours to Apex… I think that would constitute as committing myself pretty well to playing this game…

Given, I could drive 4+ hours more often, but I have trumpet to practice and money to not spend. As it is, any tournament less than 4 hours away from me I go to very very consistently. I just wish there were more opportunities around me.

Also, you have to remember that while I go to college in Muncie (my listed location here on smashboards) I often am in Columbus, IN (where I actually live), which adds at least 2 more hours to anywhere I would drive to in MI.
