Mango/PP vs M2K/Armada

Who would win? What if you replace one of them with Hbox or replace PP with Lucky? It'd be interesting to see what axe/kage would do against them as well. I hope we get to see a few of these matchups at Apex 2013.

Although, peach is a tank.
But mango likes to pull out the puff in doubles.
It woukd be really close and really fun to watch.

@Froggy They lost a set to Hbox/Plup, so it's definitely doable.

That being said, I think AR2K would win. Replacing PP with Hbox could possibly make a difference, but I doubt it.

M2k/armada
M2k is without a doubt the best doubles player so him with armada is just deadly. Only thing more deadly would be m2k/mango which I hear will be happening at apex. USA Dream Team

That'd be really neat. I don't think we've seen even just a high level puff/falco combo. Watching the highest level of this team composition would REALLY be a treat.

Maybe round robin Armada/M2k Mango/Lucky PP/Hbox Axe/Kage round robin?

Cus that would be more hype than singles LOL. And ppl would prbly make massive side bets too.

AR2K. M2K and Armada looked like they'd been teaming for years, they just click and everything works out really well for them. Dr. Mango just look really awkward as a team... PP doesn't seem comfortable being forced into a more supportive role when Mango plays fox, and he didn't really seem to know what to do when Mango was Puff either. But what do I know haha. Either way, it'd be a great match to see.

I really don't think there's a definite best in doubles between M2K, Mango and Armada. M2K might be the best of them, but certainly not "without a doubt".

And M2K/Mango wouldn't necessarily be more "deadly". I'd say all three combinations of those three players would be about equally good.

Me and Plup just work really nicely together.

Apex 2012 was our like, 3rd time ever teaming.

And 2nd place happened.

I think Me/Plup vs. Mango/Lucky would be a phenomenal set.

I think Lucky vs. Plup would just be an incredible singles set itself.

Not really just your opinion, its often proven to be the truth. High level doubles is entirely based on team chemistry, and is often better considered a different game entirely than singles.

Did you not see me and Hbox? We beat them in WF and nearly beat them in GF. I can handle these dudes in teams, not nearly as scary than in 1v1. With Axe no one can handle the number of gimmicks we throw out, its too much!

Dude, Kage isn't even from the USA, and even if he was, all he said was that he didn't know how well Javi/Tuga would do, which makes perfect sense seeing as he apparently hasn't seen any of their team matches. He never said they WOULD place below top 5, only that they COULD.

Bashing ignorant people is great when it's justified, but Kage's post didn't deserve that kind of response at all.
