Alright, I've finished this for the most part. I'll probabally update it a few times since I probabally missed a few errors (awkward sentances, broken moves, etc.) from the pre-write of this and I'll be adding more illistrations of his attacks. Note that they were done with ms paint since my photoshop decided to be retared over the weekend and not work.
Eh, I thought that Gallade should've been in Brawl :s.
Gallade is the type of character that should've been in Brawl, he has nice weight, a pretty balanced fighting style and would've made himself a spot as the fifth Pokemon, placing the random choice as a simple button to press. Gallade's arms also make decent blades to just cut with and he gets a nice projectile. He also his very nice egg move and ingame ability, Shadow Sneak and Steadfast to use O_O. They're actually pretty cool, but, I'll get to those later.

Averaged stats
Screen Name: Gallade ("The double edged Pokemon" when you get the message that you've unlocked him)
Walking Speed: 4.5/10- Gallade isn't slow but, it isn't all that fast either
Dashing Speed: 6.5/10- Gallade's Dash is a bit faster than average but, that's about it
Weight 7/10: Lucario boasts a 119 weight while Gallade stands at 116. Seeing as how Lucario is great at surviving moves at high percentages, Gallade should, too
Fall Speed 4/10: Even though he's pretty heavy, he falls so slowly
Jump 7/10: His jump comes out pretty quick with some nice distance
Double Jump 5/10: Not as much distance as the first, if not very little
Wall Cling Ability: Yes- Gallade plants its arms into a wall but, can't climb back up (for god's sake, he isn't spider-frikken-man). He acts like any other wall clinging character.
Grab extention: No
Height: He's nearly 2 feet bigger than Lucario, but, still isn't up high enough to be considered a huge target
Traction 6/10: Gallade needs a some nice traction to keep Steadfast from activating too quickly
Range 8/10: Yeah, blades for arms... doesn't that equal some nice range?
---
No damage things? You noob!
Standing- Gallade stands straight up with his arms by his side, looking around when doing nothing
Jump- He has big-ish legs, what do you expect?
Double Jump- Not as much distance as the first jump. Gallade tucks his legs in and does a flip, that's all
Third Jump- Read below into his Specials
Walking- Gallade walks like a normal human, arms moving back and forth, pretty slow :s
Dash- Gallade throws his arms behind himself and runs pretty quick.
Crouch- Gallade gets on one knee and crouches. It's pretty useless >_>
Spotdodge- Gallade lifts up one of his legs and moves into the background
Airdodge: Gallade spins as if he were doing his Nair and lands it pretty easily
Rolldodge- Gallade (you guessed it) spins in either direction
---
Jabs
Jab:
Gallade just throws out one of his arms like... a jab. (3%)
Jab Jab:
Gallade uses the back of its other arm as another hit. (5%)
If you can sweetspot on the dark blue spot has a very nice knockback. Very simular to Zelda's B, F and Dairs. (15%)
Maximum length of his hitbox
Jab Jab Jab:
Gallade almost acts like MK and does a multiple slash attack with both of his arms. However, there's a 1 and a half second lag after he finishes and the slashes only have a hitbox in front of Gallade. (3% per hit)
---
For tilts and aerials, use this hitbox^^^
Tilts
Ftilt- Blade Jab:
Simply put, Gallade just jabs his arm in front of himself, has nice knockback, but not so good lag. (9%)
Dtilt- Low Kick:
Gallade just kicks low, but quick, almost like Ness. The heavier the target, the more likely they'll be able to slip up and fall to the ground. (3%)
Utilt- Up Slash:
Gallade slashes at the sky and this move actually has a pretty nice knockback. Very simular to Lucario's Utilt, but, a much smaller hitbox around Gallade. (8%)
---
-Hitbox is the same as Sheik's-
Dash Attack- Quick Slash:
Simular to Sheik's Dash Attack, Gallade runs, slows down and slashes, going a short distance in the process.
---
Aerial Attacks
Fair- Gallant Smash:
Overall, Gallade's most powerful aerial, but, it's very hard to connect. Gallade extends his legs out and does a roundhouse kick in the air. The lag it takes for Gallade to actually kick is 1 and a half seconds making it diffucult to land since a lot of people can just DI to kick and punish you as you land. (30%)
Dair- Gallant Stomp:
Gallade extends his legs out downwards to his the unlucky sap below him. It comes out pretty fast and KOs at percentages as low as 30%. (18%)
Bair- Gallant Kick:
Same hitbox as Gallade's fair but, not as much knockback and there is no hitbox behind him. (7%)
Uair- Gallant Slash:
Using the blade on top of Gallade's head, Gallade hits almost anything above it. Nice knockback and hitbox. (16%)
Nair- Gallant Tornado:
Gallade does something simular to Mario, Luigi and Metaknight by spinning with his arms out several times. Players are drawn in by it almost like Ganondorf's Utilt and take muliple hits. It stops projectiles, goes over Banana Peels, and can clank with other tornados, knocking the user out of it as well as Gallade. This attack will go along the ground, too if Gallade lands as he's doing it. (17% max)
---
Smash Attacks
FSmash- Slice n' Dice:
Gallade does a 3 jointed attack, the first two hits are to the side while the third hit sends the target in the sky (if they're still anywhere near Gallade), this part of the attack causes a lag after Gallade finishes. All of these are done with his arms (well, um, blades). (10%-20% with the first hit, 15-25% with the second hit and the third hit does at least 30% if it connects)
-Air Attack Hitbox is Gallade's arm-
DSmash- Ground Type Slash:
Gallade slashes at the ground using both of his arms. This attack comes out quick, has a nice knockback and is great for when you don't really know what to expect. (8-18%)
USmash- Zen headbutt:
Gallade uses the blade on top of his head again to hit targets above him. (15-22%)
If it sweetspots (just at the tip of the blade on his head), Gallade uses the Psychic attibute of Zen Headbutt for more damage and knockback (20%-32%)
-Hitbox is in the picture at the beginning of his tilts-
---
Specials (yay, finally)
Psycho Cut (Charge, 5 secs):
One of Gallade's "signature" moves in the game. Gallade launches a translucent blade that's shaded like an arc. The blade itself is the size of one of Gallade's arms, but can be a useful weapon with or without charge. As shown by the picture above, Gallade's Psycho Cut initially travels at a 45 degree angle and like an arc, it comes back down to the ground. The distance itself is around the size of one Final Destination stage. When this move is charged, its arc will slowly become a straight line with better damage and knockback. If you want to lanuch one Psycho Cut, just press his neutral Special once If Gallade can get one fulled charged Psycho Cut under its belt, it can charge up a second one by holding down the Special. If Gallade can't get a second fully charged Psycho Cut as he's charging, he'll just launch the first Psycho Cut. Once Gallade has two Psycho Cuts under his belt, he can launch them at any pace with no lag in between. The second Psycho Cut is useful for keeping enemies away from the edge if they're trying to make a horizontal recovery, otherwise, it's pretty much a waste of time since overall, it's a 10 second wait to get two Psycho Cuts charged.(10%-17%)
An example of what two fully charged Psycho Cuts look like is here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-ImqZEnV-w
At 2:50; even though this does relate to Pokemon, it's close enough T_T
Down B- Shadow Sneak:
Totally bending the rules of how a Pokemon attack is used, Gallade utalizes Shadow Sneak as an attack simular to Meta Knight's dimension cape. Once this move is used, with almost no lag at all (one half second), Gallade drops into a black hole on the ground. This black hole is none other than Gallade's own shadow, in which, he can lurk around at the Speed of his walk for 10 seconds. During this time, Gallade cannot attack, crouch or jump but, he can come out of his shadow to do a slash with a hitbox both in front and behind him. There's a small downside to this, though as Gallade can still take damage while he's in his shadow with moves directed at... well, his shadow on the ground. Keep it noted that damage and knockback are accumulated over the time he's in his shadow. Once he reappears, the accumulated knockback that Gallade has will be applied once he gets out of his shadow, sometimes preventing his slash; however, Gallade will do his slash most of the time and drop to his knees to take the damage that he's accumulated, causing him to lag for 4 seconds. This attack moves items out of Gallade's way and can go though walls. (15 - Shadow Slash%)
In the air, Shadow Sneak can be used, but, it will be different and much more riskier than his grounded Shadow Sneak. His shadow has a slow pull at long distances, slower than Ganondorf's walk at times, however, as Gallade gets closer to his shadow, its pull speeds up and the attack goes as it normally would. If Gallade is attacked during his decent into his shadow, he'll be knocked off of his path but, his shadow will still be there. This means that anyone can enter his shadow and use it as they wish. If they attack Gallade's shadow, he takes damage and knockback until it disappears after 10 seconds. Other players can also get into his shadow and move around and their own walking speed for 10 seconds. By pressing any button, they'll be spit out of his shadow with the knockback animation. Don't let this discourage you, fight for your shadow! Gallade can still get back in. Aerial Shadow Sneaks draw Gallade to any wall, this includes horizontal walls so, yes, this can be used as a recovery move. Solid ceilings as on stages such as the Spear Pillar can be clung onto by Gallade's shadow.
On a small note, Gallade's time in his shadow is cut by two seconds everytime he uses it until he's KO'd. With no more time left, Gallade will just look around, clueless.
Side B- Night Slash (Charge, 4 secs):
Gallade rushes to either side slashing with his arms when he colides with something (Very simular to Ike's Side B X_X). Has a somewhat nice knockback and can KO heavyweights at around 100%. This move puts Gallade into free fall afterwards. (14-27%)
Up B- Confusion or Teleport :
If Gallade attempts his Up-B after his second jump, he'll go right into Confusion, allowing him to float around in midair as Peach does. Gallade gets 10 seconds in the air and is put into free fall after it ends or if Gallade manages to get attacked in midair. He can do all of his aerials and Specials in midair which gives Gallade a chance to charge up one or two Psycho Cuts or, some nice air time with his aerials. By pressing the Special button continuously, Gallade will float higher in the air gradually, giving him a somewhat advantage over some jumpers.
If Gallade attempts his Up-B before his second jump, he'll teleport at an angle like Mewtwo does but, with much less lag. Teleport does put Gallade into free fall.
---
Grabs
With Mewtwo, he would pick up items and characters using his Psychic ability, Gallade does somethng very simular. He uses his Psychic power to pull his opponent into his arms giving him a nice grab range as seen below.
Pummel- Headbutt:
Gallade headbutts the opponent that he's holding. (3%)
Fthrow- PsyToss :
Gallade uses his Psychic ability once again to throw his opponent foward. Excellent knockback, KOs at around 100%. (9%)
Bthrow- Backward Slash :
Gallade tosses his opponent backwards, but, he holds them in place with Confusion, only to turn around and slash them. Somewhat nice knockback, but, at low percents, can be punished due to the lag after this throw. (13%)
Dthrow- Stomp :
Literally, Gallade just stomps on his opponent. Not much to follow up with except for Dsmash since the opponent is left on the ground like Snake's Dthrow. (13% damage)
Uthrow- Boost :
Gallade uses Confusion to toss his opponent in the air. This can be followed up with his Uair, USmash, Utilt and Nair. (2%... yeah, it does almost no damage)
---
Final Smash
Psycho Boosted Close Combat(20 seconds):
Gallade chuckles a bit and says "Behold!". After this, he pushes away any opponent near him and surrounds himself in a small barrier of Psychic energy. Gallade's power and speed are boosted during this time as he floats around the stage using Psychic. Gallade can land on the ground and just pummel on his target, then, press his Up-B to get back into the air. Gallade's floating is fully controllade and easy to handle, too. Psycho Cut is now one of Gallade's deadliest moves as they're fully charged when his uses them and they're basically infinate in use an amount, but, they can still be DI'd and jumped over as any regular Psycho Cut. While Gallade is in this state, none of his moves are laggy in any way meaning that you're basically acting like Warioman. There's a small thing that Gallade can do if your opponent is dumb enough to throw a projectile or get too close to Gallade. He'll suck them into his Psychic Current, whiping them around and around and around until his Final Smash is finished. When Gallade is finished, he'll dispell his barrier while expelling everything and one caught inside of the current. Projectiles home onto any enemy after they're launched by his barrier and hit them, this includes Fox/Falco/Wolf's blaster, Samus's Missiles (Homing Missiles, ironicly) and any throwable item from Bob-ombs to Home-run bats. But this does not include Pikmin (they just die in the current)
---
Special Ability: Steadfast
This ability is activated if Gallade slips up and falls or is taking multiple hits without being able to use any of its owns attacks. Once activated, Gallade has a chance of doing one of the following-
A. Boost his own Speed for 10 seconds (50% chance)
B. Have the power and Speed of his moves boosted for 10 seconds (25% chance)
C. Shadow Sneak automatically engulfs Gallade, allowing him to escape (24.999% chance)
D. Have his Final Smash activated (0.001% chance)
This ability cannot be used twice before Gallade is KO'd twice. The more damage Gallade has, the chances of B,C and D will be heightened. These perecentages are done at 0%-60%, at 61%-100%, the percentages of B,C, and D are doubled, at 100% or higher, they're trippled.

Strategy
Offensive Gallade:
Always stay on your feet, Gallade may not be fast, but, his combos and power can KO when your opponent least expects it. Unboosted Psycho Cuts travel at a 45 degree angle and can stop an opponet's recovery if used right. If you see your opponent charging up and atttack or taking a horizontal approach, don't be shy to charge up Psycho Cut but don't overdo it as the 5 seconds of lag to fully charge one eventually turns against you. Gallade doesn't have the best aerial range, but, it's something. Don't forget that Nair can outprioritize a lot of unboosted projectiles and Gallade doesn't fall very fast, so, keep that in mind when recovering. On an added note, don't let up with the grabs, they can really be useful since Gallade has very nice range and his Fthrow can knock back even with most heavyweight of characters; Gallade's Uthrow may not do any damage, but, .it's very nicec setup for some aerial combos. When approaching a Defensive opponent, Dash Attacks, FSmashs and Side B attacks to grabs are a very nice way to go. Approaching an offensive opponent is totally different, focus on Gallade's tilts, Uairs and Bairs to rack up some damage and finish them off with boosted Psycho Cuts and, Dtilts, Dairs as they try to recover.
Defensive Gallade:
Gallade is also nice defensive contender with Shadow Sneak, Fthrow and Psycho Cut. With Gallade's range and Shadow Sneak's tendancy to allow him to esacpe fatal moves, he makes a decent camper with Psycho Cut. Shielding is a must here as Gallade can punish those who tend to have lag after their moves or are just able to be shield grabbed easily. Spamming unboosted Psycho Cuts doesn't really work as Gallade lags a bit in between each one and the arch that hey travel at tends to not hit an opponent approaching you. Instead, charge up his Psycho Cut (even half way works) and use that at every chance you get and keep your opponent back or have them roll dodge into your grab range. Shadow Sneak is also a must for a defensive Gallade as it can really keep Steadfast from activating. Some players might try to activate Steadfast early in the match so they can keep spamming you with the same move over and over again until you're KO'd at least twice. Using Shadow Sneak allows Gallade to get away from predicted moves and gain some distance. Always keep your distance, never let up with the Psycho Cuts and punish with grabs is Gallade's defensive motto.
---
Playstyle
Play Gay!:
Gallade has an array of spammable attacks that can help him out by either giving you some distance between you and your opponent or, keeping them from recovering. When using Gallade, try to get in as many boosted Psycho Cuts in as possible before you opponent can get to you. Once your opponent is able to make contact with Gallade, make an attempt to get away without Shadow Sneak, hitting them if possible. Gallade has a neat assortment of attacks and throws with excellent knockback, so, use those whem possible to get some distance. If your opponent is in KO range, don't rush at them yet, wait until they either slip up a bit or panic (spamming certain moves, overpredicting your moves, etc.), then, nail them with your FSmash, Side B Special, or, Fthrow. If you're at high percentages, try to lure your opponent into spamming you with combos until Steadfast activates or, if you're tyring to avoid that fatal blow, Shadow Sneak away. Basically, keep your distance and punish your foes when you get the chance.
Lurk in the Shadows, find your chance and skrike!:
Shadow Sneak is one of Gallade's most useful moves as it allows him to escape spammers and knock them back with his slash. Mindgames are a nice payoff of using this move as your opponent might run thinking you're going to slash while you escape with your life. This works extremely well against defensive players, so, get used to lurking around in the shadows.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
-Gallade is has nice weight distribution
-Psycho Cut's knockback
-His Grab Range
-Shadow (friggen) Sneak
-Steadfast
-Fthrow
-He's just awsome
-Nair
Cons:
-Teleport travels at one angle is isn't the best recovery option for Gallade
-Teleport can't be used after Gallade's already used his second jump so, he's kind of in the same boat as Yoshi, falling while getting a small boost from Confusion
-A lot of his cooler moves have lag
-Night Slash doesn't add much to his speed and can't be spammed easily
-Confusion and Night Slash put Gallade into free fall
-He can be juggled pretty easily
---
Why should you even use Gallade?
He's a nicely weight balanced character, not too light, yet, not too heavy. He has a good speed to use along with his tilts and Shadow Sneak can really help him out of a bind. Psycho Cut can be very useful if charged as can Night Slash. Steadfast is also a nice gamble of luck, whether you'll be able to get a Speed boost, a power boost or, have Shadow Sneak carry you away to safety. Gallade can also be a nice Defensive and Offensive character, so, there's a large chance that he'll be able to adapt with almost any player.

SSE Story introducing Gallade:
Gallade appears numerous times while Wario, Dedede and Bowser are constantly interupting his training, trying to "seal" him into his trophy. After Meta Knight regains control of his Halberd, Gallade becomes intrested in what the whole gang of fighters plans to do. He then tries to team up with them but, Mario thinks that he's one of Bowser's henchmen and tries to stop him. After they fight, Mario becomes trophitized and Gallade walks away, only to come back and revive him. Oddly enough, that alone convinced Mario that Gallade isn't such a bad guy and they continue their journey into Subspace. From there, the story itself goes as it does normally.
