I can also proudly say I was one of those people who voted for Hyper Ridley. . .How did he not get more votes?

OC: Pretty much exactly what I expected

SSE: I'm the only one who voted for Bkupa? In any case, a well deserved win to whoever made MLPoS. That thing was much better then the other SSEs, most of them aren't even completed. Kudos to that WarlordMaster guy.

Actually the part that scared me most was the section where the human shock troops are preparing for combat under a sunless sky. They're injecting themselves with artificial UV vitamins, a televised priest is being carted down the trenches blessing them, and then...Oh God the Powered Armors.

I absolutely love the film though (and really, all the segments, except maybe the one Peter Chung did). It's actually better than the source material, as far as I'm concerned.

Oooh, yes, I remember that part. Very twisted. There's a message about humanity there, oh yes there is. Yeah, the whole mood of that segment was terrifying, so cold and factual.

But as for it being better than the subject material... really, The Matrix was so good because of the concepts behind it, and lost power when it became a kung-fu flick. And that's why The Animatrix is so good, IMO. It takes that great premise and builds on it and it specifically.

Aside from the Second Renaissance, my favourite was World Record. Great animation style and fascinating concept.

The only other one that comes close to those two is Kid's Story. It's like Harry Potter + The Matrix, only awesome. And it's one of only two times I've seen suicide portrayed in a positive light, which is really...just something else (the other being that one episode of Paranoia Agent).

At MYM Awards: Pretty much what I expected. Though who else voted for me for "Best Designer" other than Warlord?

I believe it is, although both Cervantes and Naota got 56/60, so it's technically third. Seriously, though, I really liked it, Hyper_Ridley. Very nice job.

And I also usually make my sets on 1 v. 1 basis, Final Smashes notwithstanding. Oh, and I forgot to mention that; Enker's Final Smash ties together the whole moveset fantastically.

See, that's the kind of thing they shoulda done in Brawl; Lucario's Final Smash puts him at 500% but makes him invulnerable for fifteen seconds, Olimar's gives him a special breed of Pikmin that combines all the best qualities of the others for 30 seconds, Ice Climbers' makes Nana a thinking level 9 for thirty seconds, and so on.

Personally, I would've found stuff like this way more interesting than the generic stuff the characters currently have, even if it's true to character.

And I forgot about Kid's Story. Yeah, that one was certainly unique. Suicide as positive is unusual indeed.

I believe it is, although both Cervantes and Naota got 56/60, so it's technically third. Seriously, though, I really liked it, Hyper_Ridley. Very nice job.

And I also usually make my sets on 1 v. 1 basis, Final Smashes notwithstanding. Oh, and I forgot to mention that; Enker's Final Smash ties together the whole moveset fantastically.

See, that's the kind of thing they shoulda done in Brawl; Lucario's Final Smash puts him at 500% but makes him invulnerable for fifteen seconds, Olimar's gives him a special breed of Pikmin that combines all the best qualities of the others for 30 seconds, Ice Climbers' makes Nana a thinking level 9 for thirty seconds, and so on.

Personally, I would've found stuff like this way more interesting than the generic stuff the characters currently have, even if it's true to character.

And I forgot about Kid's Story. Yeah, that one was certainly unique. Suicide as positive is unusual indeed.

But yeah, I agree, it would have been nicec to have something that fits the character and actually enhances the charcter's playstyle. Though I'd be petrified of what Meta Knight would have (Meta Knight is invincable and all attacks have 1 frame per hit and he can use mach tornado forever...)

Actually Bubmin were pretty much God pikmin. In one of the dungeons it has all trap types but you could only bring in blues. The whole idea was that you would collect Bulbmin throughout it in order to disable the traps.

The Limbless Wonder Rayman Has Joined The Brawl

Please spare me tremendous flame, as this is my first MYM character.

Character Rewiew:
The protagonist of a series of games created by Ubisoft called 'Rayman'. Rayman may not have the image of a hero, being very small, but he more than makes up for his stature with his personality.


Stats:


Movement Speed: 6/10 (When Walking hes pretty slow, but once he starts runnning he can be faster then Mario)

Attack Speed: 5/10 (His Startup attack lagg is pretty average, but the lagg that follows his attacks are slow and punishable)

Attack Strength: 5/10 (Has decent Knockback power along with stacking damage)

Range: 8/10 (Due to the fact that he has no arms and legs, all his attacks will have great range)

Priority: 6/10 (His fsmash and specials will have pretty good priority over others who are lacking)

Weight: 5/10 (Rayman is a lighter then average)

Jump Strength: 7/10 (Jumping is what you did in the majority of his games, makes sense why he would be a great jumper)

Second Jump Strength: 5/10: (His Double jump were always pretty weak in his games)

Fall Speed: About the same as Toon Link

Size: Slighty Taller Then Luigi (Around Pits Hieght)



Moveset:

Standard A: Rayman throws two striaght Punches that each do 3% damage with no knockback, after the second punch he will enter into a infinite jab with him just continously throwing punchs left and right. The infinites do 1% each with little kncokback. The Move is his least laggiest attack and has average jab pirority.

Ftilt: Rayman Crosses his Hands and pushes them foward. Does 8% damage and has decent priority with a good hitbox range. Below decent knockback. Little Startup Lagg, Has a bit of ending lagg.

Dtilt: When Rayman crouches he lays down like Yoshi and Snake. When he attacks, he pushes his head foward and headbutts his foe. Most dtilts make thier opponent go up vertically when they hit them, raymans is the opposite though and does 7% with decent knockback, priority and good hitbox range. Little startup and ending lagg

Utilt: When Falcon does his raptorbooster on the ground and hits his opponent he sends them in the air with a uppercutt. Raymans utilt is similar to this motion and it has alot of startup lagg for a tilt. Does 13% damage with good knockback(can be used to KO) and great hitbox range.

Dash Attack: Rayman's dash attack is him tackling his opponent with his hands and rolling thru them sending his foes straight upward. Has a laggy end since rayman has to put his hands back in place. Does 9% damage and can kill at above 160%.

Grab Attck: Rayman pulls outs his plungershot from his raving rabbids games and pulls his foes in close! Has greater range then Links hookshot with more ending lagg. It can also be used to tether recovery and zair as well. The zair does 3% damage and has little priority.When grabbed he hits his opponent by headbutting them

Fthrow: Shoots his opponent foward with the plunger still in them and does 6% with little knockback.

Bthrow: Takes his opponent off of the plungershot and punches him to the back of him. Does 8% with good knockback and can be used to KO at high percents.

Dthrow: Rayman shoots his opponent straight into the ground while his foes bounces off of it being shot upwards. Does 6% damage and has little knockback.

Uthrow: Rayman shoots his opponent straight into the air. Has decent knockback and does 7% damge.

Ariels:
Nair: Rayman extends his legs and hands hitting all around him. Does 10% and has alot of startup lagg for a nair, but also has better knockback then most.

Fair: His fair is able to spike as it is Rayman crossing his hands and laying down a jackhammer punch, very similar to DKs. This move also has startup lagg but has good knockback and does 15% damage.

Bair: Ray man throws a his left fist first then his right fist right after, its his fastest ariel and can be used to combo. Does 9% damage with little knockback.

Uair: Rayman hits his opponent with his hair/head. His hair acts almost as a whip. This move is virtually laggless but must be sweetspotted in oder for the move to be fully effective. When sweetspotted the move does 17% and has great knockback, it does 8% when it isnt.

Dair: His Dair is one of the ones where hs is sent striaght down whenever he does it. Rayman simply goes straight down stomping on his foes with his feet. The move has plenty of ending lagg and rayman can be punished for it if he misses his opponent. Does 12% damage and has great knockback.


Smashes:
Fsmash: Rayman pulls his fist back and lets one fly! This smash is a unchargable smash and always does 12% damage. Has little startup lagg for a fsmash but alot of ending lagg because he needs to wait for his fist to come back. It also has the most range in the game for a fsmash surpassing wolf but its main flaw is that it has barely any knockback at all.

Dsmash: Rayman turns to where you can see his whole body and punchs both sides(Similar to lucarios). The longer you charge it the futher his hands will travel in range. Uncharged the attack does 12% damage and when charged it does 16%. Has great knockback with a bit of startup and ending lagg.

Usmash: Similar to his dsmash but this time he uppercutts both sides instead. His fists go striaght up and knocks his opponents horizontally more then vertically. This move is his least laggiest smash attack as it has very little startup or ending lagg, but it is harder to connect with then the others. Does 11% uncharged and 15% Fully charged.

Specials:
Nuetral Special: Rayman spins his fist and lets loose a punch. Huh? Isnt that just like his fsmash? No because this move can be charged for more power! There are many factors to this move that make it incredible. When uncharged the punch only does 8% damage with weak knockback, But fully charged it does 23% damage and is Raymans strongest attack. To fully charge it you must keep holding the button which makes this move different from most charging moves. The last factor is that Rayman can move freely while charging but can only be charging while doing so, once his fist start glowing orange, it means it is fully charged and will be able too go further and dish out much more power. Has very little ending lagg as his fist returns to him very fast after he does the move.

Side Special: Rayman throws a ball of energy as a projectile. The speed of it is as fast as Wolfs blaster and it does 5% damage. This move can be used while rayman is using his special recovery.

Down Special: Rayman whips out his energy whip and can grab his opponents. This serves as another grabbing attack and it can tether recover as well. However, this move cannot zair. It also has much less range then his plungershot and less startup lagg. Its up to you to choose which is best to use in certian situations.

Up Special: Raymans hair turns into a little helicopter and it has phenomenal horizontal recovery as he can glide forever. The major flaw is that Rayman cant recover vertically at all and this move isnt a attack itself, therefore edgeguarding him will be something rayman cant avoid. Luckily though once you press upB, nothing needs to be held, just push the analog stick in the direction in which you want Rayman to go. Rayman can shoot his energy balls to try and protect himself from any harms way.

Final Smash:
(Forgive me if mines is horrible, if anyone can come up with a better one say so and ill put that instead of this one)

Rayman grabs the smashball and activates his final smash! He dresses into a raving rabbit and screams BLAAAAAH. The second hes done yelling the screen is fulled with raving rabbits everywhere and is attacking everyone except Rayman(because they think he is one himself with the disguise). While this is going on Rayman can attack too. The damage taken varys, but this final smash will last 12 seconds.
