@Gheb: reading your posts, you do want Steel gone, and I understand that. Junglefever is an understandable second-choice. But what are your feelings towards Nix?

I'd like to know what Frozen, Summoner, Gheb, Mentos think of Ronike <--> Nix.

I'm not very fond of Ronike's play. Almost everything he's posted toDay is related to the name claiming and it seems like his "pressure" towards Nix is as well. I mentioned it before but it's an awkwardly safe way to play - it's as if the good intentions of the name claiming serves as a protection for him and as basis for all his actions. If Tom disagrees with the name claim he's acting anti-town and therefore deserves a vote. Nix name claim is somewhat questionable (which we already found to be a null-tell) so he deserves pressure.

I don't see him looking for any scum tells or actually commit to anything - where are genuine stances on people? I can't remember seeing anything of him that does not have to do with the mass claim. If he isn't scum he has to step his game up.

Nix I'm still getting as town. His posts are brief and it seems somewhat difficult to get his stance out of them but I think he puts a lot of thought into his points (even when I disagree with him like his janitor-case on Ronike) that show that he's actually trying to win this game for the town.

I'm also interested in Ronike clearing up whether or not he can see the name AND role of the person he uses his power on. Ronike, you don't have to tell us what the role was, but for the sake of clarity you should specify exactly what it is you can learn, esp. considering you can't use your power anymore anyway if I understood your roleclaim correctly.

Ok, Ronike, you have ignored the biggest question posted toward you for several posts now, I'll ask it again so it's coming from everywhere. What are the specifics of your role?

My thoughts on the play of the day is that we should hit Jungle. He has been playing extremely similar to his play in DBZ, and has only been a presence when asked questions which makes me weary of him.

@Tom: I'm not too sure on the situation. I can see where Nix is coming from, so I don't find his comments particularly scummy. Ronike's blatantly ignoring the biggest question pointed at him is making me question his end of it, but it's not the direct situation being asked about, so that can't really count in answering your question.

I am curious why Ronike says I'm his main suspicion but he's voting Nix "on a hunch." That seems like a strange thing to do, ignoring someone you say you legitimately find suspicious to work on a hunch.

I'm not sure how FF gets major town reads on Nix and Ronike both. They are both at least questionable, especially considering Ronike's major question dodging. I don't think either should end up the play today, but I do think that he seems to be reading questionable players as town, which isn't really normal for FF.

You have more tools than merely what's given to you via the role PM. I don't think you have been using it all that much so far.

I full explanation of all my reads would be desperately lacking at this point in time. Sorry brah, still workin' on it.

I'll do my best to atleast explain my Brownie Townie reads.

Ronike has just been playing straight up standard, "I'm Ronike, I'm gonna say my **** and do what I want because I'm ****ing Ronike and I don't **** around or particularly care much about what you think about what I'm doing" play. I just don't see anything particularly off kilter about Ronike's play thus far. Couple that with his coroner claim to follow up a mass name claim which was a good plan, and you arrive at my town read on him. I don't see much reason to doubt his role claim and so yeah, that on top of just generally consistent play and that's the jist of it.

As for Nix, I really have no idea how to explain it. It's just that every time I go over his posts they just scream town at me. It doesn't really have much to do with content, which admittedly he has been somewhat lacking in this game with, but he has consistent levels of activity, meaning he has maintained a pretty consistent "off to the side" presence in the game that is enough to let you know he's there but nothing particularly bold or noticeable. You can probably chalk this up to my lack of experience playing with Nix, but it's just that I get town vibes from his posts because I can't detect any scummy intent.

That's what provoked me to go over him again and again. It seemed like such a strange stance to take on Nix (most townie being a pretty powerful statement), and ultimately I came out thinking the same thing. I wasn't in Batmafia though, so I don't really know what that means in relation to his play. Gheb, do you think you can elaborate on that?

I also forgot to add summoner on my list of reads. Basically I'm still slightly wary of him gambitting and trying to ride a constant roleblocked claim till lylo, so I don't think he should be free of scrutiny, but for now I'm just accepting his claim and have him in the "very likely to be town but need to be careful" category.

To touch lightly on my other reads, I'm kinda stuck with Gheb and I think I'll need more flips to finally close the book on him.

Steel/Mentos/Jungle are all acceptable plays in my book but my individual analysis of all of them is a complete mess. I'm trying to sort it all out and determine who I would learn the most from as a lynch today.

My read on Tom has wavered all over throughout this game. He's done **** that sets my alarms off and has also done stuff that makes me think he's just playing a more brash town style. He's basically in permanent IGMEOY status for the rest of the game in my book. The fact that his two "default" town reads, Virg and KevMo, are dead atm troubles me a bit. It's WIFOM analysis at its finest though. The fact that KevMo probably wasn't killed my the mafia though (since OS was most likely jan'd by the maf) makes me think it is less likely that Tom was removing his "de facto trusts" from the game early to remove any sort of obligations in the late game.

Go go stream of consciousness. Hope you all can follow that. Like I said, my reads/thoughts aren't particularly organized atm.

Oh, so you *do* actually know Overswarm's role? From your first post, I was under the impression that you were just told the name?

Why are you waiting until Twilight today to reveal it? That's information we could all use. Obviously scum isn't going to claim whatever he is if he is a PR, because they know that you know it. And if he was the SK or the second killing role on N1, I would like to know, and I'm sure everyone else would.

Frozen, you said that you think Nix is very townie. But you also said you think Ronike is townie. So what do you think about Nix's accusation that Ronike is scum, using his knowledge of the janned role to claim Coroner? What do you think of Ronike's coroner role and the way he claimed it (at first just saying he knew the name, then after being bombarded with the question, saying he also knows the role but will not reveal it until Twilight, without giving a reason)?

I know that Steel is going to be mega inactive Tuesday-Friday because that's the reason he gave me for not joining my Yoshi's Island mafia game. He will be at college orientation in Texas with his Mom and a cute girl. I say mega inactive because he's already been sorta inactive.

Looking back on Day 1, when Riddle replaced in, he said that Gheb gave him a very scummy vibe and that he needed to look into it more, but then he never looked into it. I think Riddle is the only person who ever thought Gheb was scum in this game, but he never elaborated on it after saying it, even when Gheb asked him to be more specific. It's strange.

Would like to see more of Junglefever and more of Steel.... what's new...

But I know the role, but I thought I could cc a mafia claim with it until I realiEd the chance of that was abysmal, however if the role is what I originally thought, then I can use it to trap someone possibly, but it's not that huge of a chance so I want to make sure town knows today in case I die.

Man, I know this makes me look bad but... CALLED IT! XD Anyway, if what Ronike says is true this is a bit more reason to question the Poison claim. So far all the townies we've seen have been Nintendo villains. OS being Splashwoman(from a Capcom game) would make it more likely that if a pattern was followed Poison(also Capcom/not Nintendo in general) would be a mafia character.

Yea, I get what your saying, can't say I like it though.

I am finding myself believing Ronike's claim....only to the fact that having a SK that can track is a bit of a unusual role.....unusual enough to where I don't see scum making it up just for show. I am REALLY wanting summoner back and his thoughts on stuff, as he is the cop he has a bit more leverage.

As for myself, I personally am not liking jungle or Steel at the moment. Gheb, FF and mentos are getting a town-read from me at the moment. And for that matter

Mentos- jungle is playing extremely similar to basically 99% of games he has played. I never looked at DBZ so is there something in there that directly pertains to his play this game more than others? Because as far as I've seen you can't really metagame jungle.

Also, I don't know why you're suggesting we press on nix more for his name claim. I think it's really useless metagaming and any half-decent mod wouldn't let the game be broken by name claiming, and Xiivi looked over this game too.

I know you say you don't want to push a lynch over it, but this brings me back your post on D2 where I just don't know what you are doing with these posts and how they're helping at all.
