I know most mods usually tell you if your action has failed, something I would obviously claim here if I was lying, but seth isn't a normal mod by any means

Don't get mad - get Swiss
I'm assuming Nerbins is the last TPR, because it makes sense to me that one of the town would have the ability to dodge the double night kills.

unvote

So assuming he did somehow dodge the alignment check he's probably clear.

Nerbins Nerbins confirm?

Either you got blocked, which would mean both scum factions targeted you, or you hit the commuter.
If I understand correctly, you can’t have been commuted yourself.

Did you crumb somewhere who you were going to target?
Darnit this is actually important.
I'm finna presume the seer got nothing meaningful, cause I don't claim a town check here, at least not until one faction is eliminated
That’s why I wanted a seer result massclaim so the seer can leave behind a not-werewolf/traitor check in case they die.

Mods don't necessarily need to tell you if you have been blocked, but it's pretty stupid to not say if not their action failed, since it's already something you can assume

The traitor probably isn't all self targeting, since he can't win by himself and he can apparently win with either alignment even dead. So it's more likely that he can commute and give bp to the other evils? Right? Am I wrong for thinking this?

strongly agree, no result is more of you having received a result: nothing than action failed, which is somehow being unable to perform the action

If the traitor commuted, that would be bad play. He needs to give that vest out asap to prevent crosskills if he wants optimal winning chance.

disagree, read action fail vs receive no result argument above
I’ve seen hosts use “you got no result” for both. That’s mod-dependent.

I mean imagine you roll traitor, you get the list of woofs and mafs and one of them manages to enter the town core.
Your choices are rolecop, giving out a vest or self-commute.
Not giving that guy the vest is just dumb.

And now I realised the guy is dead anyways so either the vest doesn’t function the Night it’s given or the traitor indeed didn’t hand it out. Meh.

nerbins has barely read the thread and i imagine same goes for whysper. by your logic, do you think they’d be in any position to make a good play and give eido the vest? from what i saw theyve hardly read

So commuters are usually only self targeting? If a commuter wasn't self targeting, and they targeted someone else. Would you allow out going actions from the person they targeted?

Hm also true. I guess it's a real option that they commuted.
Which makes them the traitor if that's why Wisp didn't get results.

We know the Mafia killed Eido because there's no way the Werewolves did.
This means one of the following, IMO:
  • Mafia thought Eido was a Town PR.
  • Mafia thought Eido was locktown and that claimed Town PRs were likely to be protected.
  • Mafia wanted to frame someone who Eido was pushing
  • Mafia wanted to get rid of Eido because he was pushing them.

Or, for all I know, it could be all of these. I'm gonna go through these.
First: Mafia thought Eido was a Town PR.
I'm not considering this particularly likely right now, I'm not seeing anything that's hinting at having a PR.

Second: Mafia thought Eido was locktown and that claimed Town PRs were likely to be protected.
I see this as the most likely option right now. It seems that most players, myself included, were convinced that Eido was Town.

Third: Mafia wanted to frame someone who Eido was pushing
I see this as being a potential bonus for the second option right now, but it essentially turns into WIFOM with the fourth option and gets confusing. I'm not gonna go down that rabbit hole.

On to Eido's reads and my tinfoil analysis:
Based on Eido's last post (Post #1235):
Townreads:
ExLight(Shurian)/Swiss/Gorf/Wiisp - These could potentially be scum buddies. I suspect Wiisp is on this list due to his Cop claim, which is still uncountered.
Null:
Scarlet/Osie/Mao/Frozen - These are also likely scum buddies.
Scumreads:
Wam/Rhand/gellnick/Whysper(Nerbins)/Chaco(UtopianPoyzin) - I don't think any of these are scum buddies. I suspect at least one, if not both, of the Mafia are in this list, likely either Whysper/Nerbins or Chaco/Utopian.

With regards to Wiisp's result, I see a few options here.
Mods tell you you were roleblocked:
1. Traitor commuted, which means Whysper is the Traitor.
2. Wiisp fakeclaimed cop
Mods don't tell you you were roleblocked:
3. Scum RBer, probably Mafia
4. Town Jailkeeper

Depending on what the mods say, I'm thinking the most likely option is #1, since Wiisp hasn't been counterclaimed, which I would expect to have happened by now if Wiisp were fakeclaiming. However, if the mods don't tell you you were roleblocked (Which I can see happening based on how mods have done stuff so far), I see both options 3 and 4 as likely, possibly both being true. I would suspect that a Jailkeeper would have targeted Wiisp in order to protect him, but I can definitely see a Mafia roleblocker blocking Wiisp.

Wiisp you weren't commuted. Osie confirmed that.

The types I have seen:
  • Self-commuting (common)
  • Commuting oneself + one other (rare, the commuted person was not roleblocked iirc)
  • Commuting SK that could kill while commuted (not applicable here)

Gellnick can you tell me how much experience you have? I don’t remember you ever having said it
I thought I mentioned it, maybe I didn't
I've started playing about 2 years ago, unfortunately the forum I got started playing on decided FM was a waste of time and shut it down almost exactly a year ago, most of which I haven't played any FM.
