Wario is from a GBA game, and he's in Brawl. Zero Suit Samus is also in Brawl.
Oh, and I know the joke is so outdated, but I still love it.

I can only tell you that if the character isn't o n this site it has extremely low chances of making it into brawl

Meh. That leaves three logical female Fire Emblem candidates.
The first is Sheeda, who would never get in before Marth.
The second is Mia, who isn't exactly a fan favourite.
The last is Macaiah, who didn't appear on the polls because it occured before Radiant Dawn's release. Macaiah and Radiant Dawn have had much success, and it would have even more if she appeared in Brawl. That and she's a caster but can still hit stuff with a staff, so we'd get someone who isn't purely brute force.
Of course there is nothing saying they need gender balance, but it'd be best to present a Fire Emblem character radically different from Ike.
I didn't want to sound mean. I've been reading this thread for a long time. Though it doesn't sadden me that Lyn is an Assist Trophy because at least she'll appear in some form, and that leaves a spot for at least one more Fire Emblem character, possibly two.

Well, crap. This means I no longer care that much who is the other FE rep. Micaiah would be nice for adding magic to the roster, but apart from that, I really have no alliegances. Lords tend to be rather dull, an non-lords don't seem to have a chance. Ah well.

Celica is better, because she has more moves than Lyn, like casting fire and a dragon-killing spell. Also, she is the first main female character in the Fire Emblem series.
But on her negative side: she isn't as important as Alm (below), and Fire Emblem Gaiden is the least important and perhaps least popular Fire Emblem title in existance.
But if Sakurai adds another character from Fire Emblem 1 and/or 3, along with Marth, then I assume it would either be Sheeda, Oguma, or BOTH.

*sigh* I had high hopes for Lyn. She was the starting lord of the debut game to the states, was she not? What a pity.. Brawl still needs more female characters.

Marth is very likely at being as a playable, because |1.| the Fire Emblem logo in the game resembles his sword (Falcion), and |2.| he previously appeared in SSBM with original moves.

I'd say no, Ashanrd and BK don't count as Lords, being pretty much antagonists and all. But if there's a single non-lord in the series with hope of appearing, it's BK, that's for sure.

I'm here to say I feel sorry for all the Lyn hopefuls who had their spirits crushed by tonight's update. May she rest in peace with Samurai Goroh as confirmed unplayable...

Honestly.. I'd rather have her playable or not at all.. -.-;; *SIghs* ... Sakurai has so far failed to put anything for me in this game. Now you might think that sounds seflish, but I hope he plans on putting in a little something for everyone. I mean, that is what makes a game great, I think.

Hell no for BK. having two characters from one game is unfair to the other ones.
The DNA Monster and Baby Eating Machine are more interesting than Woman with Sword.
Doesn't matter though, because none of them are playable, and my day is made.
Oh, and on an unrelated note, Titania has a much better design than Lynn. Doesn't put her in or out of the game, but that's my opinion.

Titania is up there with Vaida and Isadora as beastly mounted man-creatures with big weapons...

Wow this update has gotten me absolutely disgusted; such a waste of character potential. Oh well time to hope that the Black Knight has such a fate as well

I don't see what the big deal is. Don't get me wrong, I can get emotionally attatched with video game characters, especially Fire Emblem, but why does it matter that much?
Perhaps there is bias with my inability to feel anger, but if they deconfirm a character I want, I really don't care. God, even with all Dedede has going for him, even if they posted "Haha idiots! You thought Dedede was going to be in, but he's not! Not even a Sticker!" I wouldn't care. It's not like a character not being in the game makes it worse. Just that putting in more characters makes it better. The currently presented roster is satisfactory, so anything that comes beyond it doesn't matter.
