I was under the impression that very few, if any (depending on your pairing choices) of the children actually stick around Ylisse. In fact, the only pairing I'm aware of that results in any children staying there as opposed to going on a journey elsewhere is Yarne x Nah.

I've been practicing a whole lot of Brawl Marth so I can be good at Lucina when Smash releases, and wow, he's really good. I never knew how timing-based his playstyle was... having to use the right move at the right time or you're hit (in my case, I was doing Marth vs Marth). It's one of the more complicated ones, but he's become my #2 main for Brawl now.

What stinks is that they've changed him up a lot for Smash 4, so I just hope at least some of what I've gotten out of Brawl Marth carries over. I can't wait to main Lucina, I just hope her recovery is superior.

I imagine As long as you're familiar with Marth you can adapt to his changes much more quickly. The guess right now is Lucina has a bit better air game in comparison to Marth, but no one knows for sure yet.

Robin and Lucina are definitely one of the couples that stay in Ylisse. Unless you count Smash Bros as a journey.
