As much as I love Luci, it's going to be kinda weird not being married to Cordelia. :-(

I do too in a way, but It's kind of hard to marry her to ANYONE and then watch her have those generic sayings about wanting Chrom. Girl, you are married now, stop lustin after another man.

After she's married I guess it could be considered admiring rather than lusting, that makes it seem a little less wrong.

I imagine As long as you're familiar with Marth you can adapt to his changes much more quickly. The guess right now is Lucina has a bit better air game in comparison to Marth, but no one knows for sure yet.

That's perfect! I love fighting from the air. That's something I was never able to do back when I mained Zelda, her air game is awful.
I always want to use Marth's down air but it's just too laggy. I am still trying to learn not to use it to try to get a kill when off the stage... I die everytime I do. Nair and Fair and good for it tho
I also wasn't really ever a fan of Marth's tip mechanic, so, Lucina kind of sounds sounds perfect for me

The characters' side sayings, like the ones with Cordelia being dreamy over Chrom, are only canon as of their first appearance in the game, before their support relationships have been developed. Don't judge Cordelia too harshly; she can't help but say what she's programmed to say. If characters were always aware of the relationships in the game, the amount of dialogue they would have had to write or change would be dramatically increased.

And by certain characters, I mean basically just Cordelia, since she's really the only one I can think of that's like that. And by certain circumstances, it's probably close to 40% of her dialogue. Honestly, a lot of her supports don't bring up her crush or Chrom until the S rank, so they'd be fine left as is. Like, I know Lon'qu and I'm pretty sure Stahl would be fine (don't remember her others off the top of my head). I know Frederick's would have to change.

And coding wise, it's not difficult. Just set a marriage boolean, if it's false (default) use what we have, if it's true use altered dialogue. While this could screw up the support log, the bare minimum of having it change non-recorded dialogue (event tiles, barrack dialogue, etc) would be a massive improvement to her appeal and not really require much change.

This. Admittedly it does take time which officially paid programmers and scriptwriters maybe just didn't have enough time (Or didn't care enough) to do, but it's actually a really simple process compared to a lot of the other stuff they do.

I learned about it in a first level programming college class. Even if I sucked at it.

Well, that's true - it wouldn't be absurdly difficult or anything. It isn't an especially necessary feature, though, which is why I guess they didn't prioritise its inclusion. It would be nice if they'd given her and others (say, Tharja, who persists with her obsession over Robin after marrying ) alternate dialogue, but it doesn't really bother me; just keep in mind when playing that those comments don't necessarily reflect their post-relationship feelings.

I think recycling Critical Hit would be just fine if they change its visuals to match the special abilities in Awakening. At the least, Lucina's banner from Awakening should appear (just as Chrom's banner appears in Robin's final smash) and the hitpoints bar should match those from Awakening. If they did that, I'd be all for it.

The best case scenario, however, is something new - Aether, the Awakening from The Future Past DLC, opening a time portal that sucks in enemies... something like that would be superb.

I will do that same thing. I just have the bad feeling with the Star Fox Reps that all of them will still have Landmasters.

I would think she's a starter since Sakurai said she would be better for beginners than Marth, and I can't see them both being starters...I would think that if Marth wasn't on the cover of the 3DS version, which makes me think he's the starter.

Really? Marth has always been a starter ever since Brawl. If that's true than Marth will have to be unlocked again. Not that I'm complaining. Though, where did you find the post that said Sakurai would be better for beginners than Marth? Just curious.

Marth is on the 3DS box art. I don't think he's going to be an unlockable.
