Just a few small things:

-If you miss the tech on side-b Ganon gets a free jab, ftilt or dtilt.

-Usmash has less ending lag than you think it does.

-ASC poops all over him.

-Approaching is the your worst option.

As clarification, it's more that there are a TON of IASA frames for Ganon's USmash. With exceptions such as being right behind him, don't try to punish it unless you want his FTilt slammed into your jaw.

Ganondorf is sort of like a worse Ike in the matchup with all of the crazy kill power without the same frame data Ike can boost. Ganondorf has a terrible approach game and has absolutely projectiles, so AS basically wrecks him in the neutral. Retreating Force Palm at high percents covers almost everything from an advancing Ganondorf on the ground. An aerial approach has real threats, but he doesn't have anything safe on shield save for his choke. Recovery is actually easier against him with how hard he needs to read against you to get an edgeguard, but do it poorly and expect your stock to be gone.

We have the advantage in this matchup.

Don't be surprised when Ganon's aerials just beat out everything we do when we're below 70%.

DO NOT PLAY FOOTSIES WITH GANON, YOU WILL LOSE.

If your offstage spacing is good you can go for aerial gimps, just don't get Flame Choked or stage spiked.

Wave bounced retreating Force Palm is a decent spacing tool at higher percents. You really must respect him in CQC, don't go in too hard or you will risk getting smacked really hard.

Good Ganons will watch for your habits and will adapt suprisingly fast to them. Don't mindlessly BReverse.

Ganondorf is one of those few characters Lucario can easily outmaneuver.
Between (slightly) better mobility, AS (and FP flames to an extent) projectiles, and the capacity to potentially gimp Ganondorf offstage, I'd give Lucario the advantage in this matchup pretty handily.

That being said, clever and sharp-eyed Ganondorfs are downright nasty to Lucario if you let your guard down and eat a few well-placed power-hits from him. Get caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, and Ganodorf will end Lucario, at disturbingly lower percents than we're typically watching out for to boot.

I don't normally survive longer than 110% against ganon. The knockback on this mans tilts is absurd. That being said, this is the percentage where you should lame him out with AS and maybe FP. This match up is easy once we realize who has initiative to approach. Ganon can sit there spamming up smash to bait and buffering tilts all day, but it won't matter if we stay away and chip at him. Never counter against him if counter is something you're usually into. If you miss a read, ganon could set up a free flame choke tech chase situation that could lead to a KO. Avoid that altogether. Also, I found dair and bair to be effective edge guarding tools against ganons up b. 4:6 lucario in my opinion because of ganons poor ability to break neutral against lucario. As long as the pressure is on ganon to approach, we should remain in control. But it's not a free matchup since ganon could simply dtilt or ftilt us for a KO at a percent where we want to be.

62.5-37.5 Lucario so slightly over 60-40 IMO. Its not a free MU as mentioned but Lucario has a pretty solid advantage. Can outpower ganon with aura, plus has better speed, movement and frames. However you wont live insanely high % likely so have to rely on a medium aura like under 100%. Smart Ganons are very read heavy and tricky, be careful approaching and his upsmash has like zero lag it looks punishable but it really isn't the way you think. Don't fall for that. Being heavy combos from throws rack up damage quickly, Ganon is slow to approach and has little in the neutral compared to Lucario.

I didn't quite rate it 65-35 since Ganon can have some faster moves and kill easily if you make a mistake(D tilt is scary), but its a uphill climb MU for him.
