Wait a sec there's a loser bracket?

That means that I have another match or something?
No. No. lrn2rd plz.

Single elimination means once you lose, you're done. Double elimination means you lose once and then you're sent to loser's bracket. Once you lose in loser's bracket, you're done. Thus, single elimination and double elimination.

I thought it was pretty self-explanatory.

And this is single elimination, if that's what you're confused about.

That was a biased prediction on my part. He and I are really good friends irl (I literally live less than two blocks away from him), but he's pretty new to the competitive scene. I thought Gates would win just due to Gates having more experience overall, but I chose Rockem because we're friends.

I guess his favoritism for lesser-played tiers like NU and LC helped?

EDIT: I'm assuming it's single elimination to speed things up.
I think it was partly that he is more experienced and partly because I made a lot of stupid mistakes in teambuilding like forgetting to give my Poliwag Water Absorb lol.

And yeah, single elim is likely just to speed things up.

Pretty sure Tery's going to randomize the next round, Leafy. Don't worry lol

Yeah, sorry to the members who are already out but I can't count your votes.

If you're not going to count our votes then just do it bracket style anyway. Wouldn't the whole point of doing it random be to let the people who lost first round be able to play a second round?

I vote no. I think randomized match-ups each round makes each round a little more interesting.

I wish we didn't have to follow species clause and LC Ubers were allowed...

Round ends in ~2 days, thank you to those of you who have gotten your matches done.

I contacted m4f through VM yesterday, and despite being on at least two times that I know of since then, he's yet to respond back.

Just thought I'd tell you in the event that he never responds back. >.<

Well, there are only four matches left in the first round, which had the most matches, so it doesn't look like there'll be too much inactivity.
Yeah, and looking at the remaining players I have faith that they'll be able to complete their matches on time.

So don't disappoint me, guys. :)
