Little Cup is sooo **** intimidating. Its worse than Ubers

And this is really sad, because Ubers is actually considered the quickest tier to pick up. And if it's not the quickest, it's at least one of the quickest. And LC isn't bad at all either.

In fact, they were probably the two that I found the least intimidating to switch into. Research can go quite a long way.

I don't know, it seemed no matter how much I read, I ALWAYS got my *** handed to me in Ubers. I always faired best in OU. Little Cup has such staggeringly powerful pokemon (in relation to their enviroment) that I'm intimidated to put nearly anything on my team out of fear of having a massive Crogonuk or Houndour weakness.

I'd advise reading the Little Cup guide, and lurking on Smogon's Little Cup section.

Yeah, the guide's certainly a good place to start; despite the fact that it's rather outdated. It at least teaches you the different EV system that you'll need to pay attention to. Reading the recent Smog article about Misdreavus' disappearance can help you learn a bit about the actual metagame, as I believe it mentions some of the threats that have become more potent with her leaving.

Apart from that, Terywj pretty much covered it.

This needs to be stickied bumping out the mixed bags tourney IMO.

God I have a bad feeling about LC. I'll be happy if I can get past the 1st round. I've never played an LC match and I have no idea how my team will fare with an actual LC team because nobody ever plays LC on shoddy.
