I am joking but...

"DI/Smash DI – DI is still in brawl, and seems to be a lot more effective. There is more hit stun with pretty much every move, so there are more frames to DI. It’s really a hard thing to check, all of the competitive players who played brawl have a really natural instinct to DI to survive, its hard to think not to DI on purpose for comparison purposes. It did seem like we lived for longer percentages though, especially on most of the item attacks. Honestly it seemed like it was easier to do survival DI, but harder to DI out of combos. My theory on that is that because the game and most moves are new, we simply don't know where to DI yet to get out of combos."

No problem, if you need more info on the game look for Gimyfish's brawl impression thread.

i´m not sure because i didn´t see the yellow costume yet but i think it it´s from TP. When you drink for example the "yeti-soup" (heals & makes you stronger for a short time) then you´re glowing yellow/gold...

Also, as i saw it during my last playthrough (3.) i thought it would be a good alt. costume for BRAWL but never believed it would make it in xD i hope it looks like it!

Hey, egruntz, I have a question.

Is the new Link's forward Smash like his previous one where the first hit will knock you away, or like Young Link's from Melee where it only "popped" you up for the first hit setting you up for the second hit?

I saw some people were wondering about Link's yellow outfit (waaaaay back on the first page). I think I have the answer.

I've noticed that Link's look, the TP one escpecially, is based on old Irish warriors. Epona, his horse, is even named after an ancient Gallic horse Goddess.

Yellow (or saffron) was the color of Irish nobility, and many noble Irish warriors wore it as a symbol of status. It was so common that it was actually outlawed by the English as they tried to destroy the Irish culture.

So, I think it's possible his yellow outfit is meant to be like a saffron tunic.

Interesting!

You DO learn something everyday!

However, on another note, I'm fearing for Link. Two threads so far have proclaimed Link as t3h suck...
I only remember two USERS saying that. In the same thread (and alot of it is kind of contradictory to what's arguably unanimous, not that I brought much of it up when I was confronting the issue).

Cool! Since I'm Irish, I think I'll be using yellow a lot more now.

I'm confused about something. I've seen characters do their first jab many times as if was a multi-hit combo. How do they do that? Can Link do it? I still don't get why they took out his Illusion combo, I mean Pit has his 3 strikes AND a rapid hit move. What gives?

He is t3h suck. But only compared to the Hero of Winds.

*prepares the Magic Armor from Wind Waker and uses AR code for Infinite Magic*
There's a good chance alot of other characters are compared to TL.

*There's also a good chance your game will freeze when you go through a certain door.*

Which door, exactly? This is WW we're talking about here, right?
First of all, yes I'm talking about WW. Secondly, one or two of the doors I went through when playing WW with AR codes (at least too many of them), caused the game to freeze when the screen went black. Call it a personal experience, but I can't be the only one who's suffered that.

There's one glitch that continually works for me. If I enter Orca's house while Moonjumping, the screen goes all black, the game freezes, and the sound of the waves can be heard. It always works.
