His super taunt uses a full bar of super; it's mainly for lulz. You can cancel it into an Ultra, but yeaaaaah...

Plus, it's Dan. Why wouldn't you taunt?

Man, I still have my Neon Purple GBC as well, I remember getting hyped over that game boy since it was bundled with Yellow version.
