Me too. I'm glad they didn't get their greedy hands on Rare back in the day instead of Microsoft as Microsoft is treating them better than Activision would have.I really hate Activision...

I know we won’t all agree on Rare as an Xbox studio, what with the highs and occasional disappointments, but just remember that #Activision was also in the running to buy them out in 2002.

The water in the new Call of Duty would look fantastic though
Exactly. Banjo & Kazooie wouldn't likely be in Smash right now.Activision being Activision...
I'll just leave this here.

If Rare was bought by them instead of Microsoft, people might still be campaigning for Banjo in Smash but to no avail.
I can't say Microsoft owning Rare has been very good either. I just wish Rare never left Nintendo. They were a match made in heaven.Activision being Activision...

We can thank the higher ups at Rare for that as a lot of Rare employees wanted Rare to stay with Nintendo. But Microsoft owning Rare is certainly miles better than Activision owning them.I can't say Microsoft owning Rare has been very good either. I think Crash would be more likely, which is particularly disappointing. I've always maintained that if Crash Bandicoot joined Smash, the number of requests for Spyro would increase dramatically. It's a crying shame then, that Crash Bandicoot being the last character would deny Spyro fans the opportunity to make those requests. Our last shot to be Reignited is on October 5th. Not sure we've got a great chance, but here's hoping!
