Just had Snake dittos with bman...they were a blast (literally lol).

Uhm..what can I say...bman you've got killer fair edgeguard timing. Also nice gimp kill with dair that one time haha. Oh and you're quite good at non-collision mortar slides Somethin' I've yet to get down right. It seemed as if we were both taking turns doing epic feats lol. Overall very challenging and fun matches.

Thought it was a bit funny when we kept doing mirror jabs at the same exact time

anyway..I'm lookin' forward to more Snake dittos with all you other people

Lol. You still won most of our matches, but I'm just gonna john and say that the lag killed me most of the time.

But yeah, it was hilarious when we kept cancelling out each other's attack with the same attack. But yeah, I practice fair spikes when I'm on the practice stage, I've gotten kinda good at it. And the Cromslide (which is what I will call it from now on), I just got the timing down one day when I remembered that you could do it without hitting a person. At first, when I tried with the C-stick, I was horrible, couldn't do it once. Then I thought that I should try with the control stick, since my thumb is already there. That, and I can't use the C-stick anymore. I B-stick now.

I was sooooo close to finding a shield-breaker combo for Snake on you. If only you hadn't fallen over...

Something I found hilarious, though, is when you stuck that kirby on the forehead with a butterfly. It looked like Kirby had angry eyebrows, so I laughed a bit at that.

Strange choice of stages at first o.O....lol @ Rainbow Cruise and Temple with hilarious results. You made me realize that I should start playing on less linear stages and learn to adapt to the strangely constructed ones..(for example spinning things on sonic stage...I was just like wtf? haha).....so thanks I'll be workin on that!

By the way, TSL, I can see you really love your mortars/mortar slides lol.

Snake dittos are really interesting because you can tell the subtle differences (sometimes not so subtle) in the way different people play their Snake. Be it more nade tricks/more CQC/more nikita follow ups...it's what keeps every Snake player unique.

Good matches, RJ. The stages were like that because I just select random usually. I only have the REALLY sh*tty stages (like Big Blue o.O) turned off in stage select ... And yes, Sonic stage is pretty funky, hah. =P

As you could probably tell, I play Snake very aggressively and offensively, which, in my opinion, is not the correct way to play him. I'm trying to consciously shift my play over to a more defensive, cagey style of play that's more balanced than how I currently play Snake. That's what I was trying to do our first few matches, but I couldn't keep up with you, lol. You actually play Snake correctly, so the level of mindgames, setups, and Crombos was Over 9000. I had to revert back to my primitive nature and just go all out offensive so that I could stand a chance (sorta, hah ...)

Anyway, I'm sure that it'll call come to me in time ... a really long time ...

hey abit i saw you online yester waited like an hour but your status was "brawling" , i really wanted to get in , ahh wutever i usualy play 12-3 pm and late night 10-3 or 4 am california time
oh yea anyone have trouble facing off with a good wolf player? Wolf seemed out range of my jab combo and his claw swipes seemed to hit first against ftilt , also he would spam his laser and force me to aproach then would smash me, and wolf is pretty quick. dont worry i still won reverting to shield explosive grenades, mines to restrict the ground area forcing CQC and i over powered yeah represent! love snakes survivabilty.... laterss

Ruckus! My friend was nearby watching our dittos and he said that you play just like me lol. Strange but I kinda agree with him, and this made our matches pretty tough o.O Your Snake does a pretty good job balancing everything that he's got, which made it quite challenging. One nice thing I noticed is you're pretty proficient with the nair. Good stuff man.

That one rolled-into-fsmash owned me haha.... Why is it I always get fsmashed at least once in my Snake ditto escapades?

Overall very good matches.

Good game Abit Rusty , yea im pretty good with nair cause i juggle the sandbag without it touching the ground once. I never fought a snake b 4 so I had to adapt after losing the first round. I took your missle edge guarding tech , but usualy i use alot of mortars and try to catch people that jump with a nair.

I'm sure lots of people already know about this but I just found a little trick that I've been using a lot lately and thought I would share it with you: When your holding a grenade press the z-button and you will do the grabbing animation while dropping the grenade and it looks surprisingly like you are going to throw it. I tried this against my friend and he flinched pretty badly. He put his shield up and rolled away and from there there are many things you can do. Dash- grab, pick up nade, dash attack. It basically just a fun mindgame.

Soooo, if any of you want to play me I have added all of you...

I don't post a lot on here, but I couldn't resist this. Snake is my main in Brawl. I almost went with the new space animal Wolf because of the familiarity of him (mained Fox/Falco in Melee), but after some more playtime with Snake I've started to become much more comfortable with everyone's favorite mercenary.

I'd like to help out with the header image thing. I got a great screenshot of Snake standing tall on the cannon of Wolf's Landmaster at Bridge of Eldin. I just need to upload it on my friend's SD card and convert on my computer. It might be a few days, but I'll certainly try and speed it up if you haven't gotten any others.

As far as Snake info goes, I'd love to try and help out with that as well. I think Snake will be a character with some complex maneuvers and very punishing projectile combos. I think he has qualities of becoming an incredibly difficult character to face (he seems like he already is anyway) and a very rewarding character to master. I'll probably be able to contribute info on Snake vs. Sonic matchups since my most competitive friend is maining Sonic and we've already had some fierce battles.

Why main Snake? He's a refreshingly unique character that is fearsome at close range and godly at a distance. His game is centered around outthinking your opponent and having him/her second guess their every move. He is an incredibly difficult character to master and I love the challenge of becoming as good as I can with him. Plus he exudes an air of badassery that no one can deny.
