HINT: Scum want a town lynch or a no lynch. Assuming at least one of the two is a town lynch they can have either. If Gova is a townie, scum could have sealed his fate long, long ago.

But then Ranmaru says "Kantrip isn't playing like Kantrip" despite the fact that everyone who has been in a game with him knows this isn't the case, then votes pile on?



Let me tell you how this is going to go for scum if they get their way. The scum between KevinM, Rainbow Fingers, Gova and Inferno that isn't will wait until the last minute and say "we need a lynch" and hammer the moment K gets to L-1.

K will flip town.

Then there will be a super hard push towards Gova again because nothing has changed. Then it won't stick because people will say "we can't end the day early, let's use the day to get more information" even though we know who to lynch. Then someone will pull a kantrip and say something stupid and we'll have plenty of other options and Ryker will come out shouting empty threats to anyone that still takes him seriously and we'll be in another huge mess.

If he flipped scum? Ryker, easily. Not necessarily as a lynch for sure, but Ryker's open defense of Gova prior to Gova commenting on the game in any fashion would require a much deeper explanation and some seriously thought out posts from him before even thinkign about moving on. The moment we got blustery Ryker I'd want him lynched.

If he flipped town or scum and someone on the Gova wagon switched onto Kantrip as the Gova wagon gains steam, I'd look at them for sure.

The above votecount would be most important, as it was right before Gova and Rainbow Fingers moved to Raziek.

I'd ask myself "if Gova flipped town, we have to ask ourselves if Kantrip is town or scum. Gova being scum or town doens't effect my read on Kantrip, so Kantrip is still assumed town until proven otherwise or we get new information.... so what was scum's goal?"

To get a no lynch or to get a mislynch while hiding their intentions.

MSF's play would be ballsy for scum, but entirely likely, and would be a good avenue to look at... but not necessarily the best.

Ryker is again under suspicion even if Gova flips town. It's not unheard of for scum to protect a townie vehemently to earn town points upon their inevitable town flip. The important thing is the motivation for protection, of which Ryker had little.


Rainbow Fingers would be a huge slot to look at as they were absent most of the day and I would demand some input from them. That said, I probably wouldn't want to lynch them simply because they are thinking differently than absolutely everyone else here and that is generally a good town sign (and bad for indies). I'd imagine he'd fit into the flow later, but if he was scum he'd have fit into the flow right away. It's an intriguing slot, but I'd be willing to see more if he answered questions.


So after the initial Ryker questioning?


Soup, Inferno and KevinM.


KevinM has been KevinM and needs to contribute. He's made some stances but no reasoning, something not unheard of for KevinM. But that is unacceptable. KevinM is unlikely to be a vote slave, so he needs to be lynched early if he won't play the game. That said, he could be a powerful late game ally for the same reason. While someone like Kantrip and MSF could end the game prematurely by town, KevinM would require tons of reasoning while providing none of his own, and any case on KevinM would have to be legitimate as he doesn't lend himself to frivolous cases very often.

Inferno is kind of in the same boat as Rainbow Fingers, but he has been more in the same vein as the rest of town... but not with his vote. I like that he's a bit off the grain, but he's been around long enough to where he should be a more prominent figure. I wouldn't worry too much about him personally as i've been able to read him in the past, but he'd be an option.


Soup though.... soup. Ask yourself why he's on Kantrip as a lynch. Then read his posts throughout the game and just see when and where and why he switched and ask yourself "Was he convinced? Did he need convincing?" If the answer is no to both you should see something beforehand hinting at it, but... it isn't there.

If Gova flipped town, Soup would be a large red flag if I felt scum was going for a No Lynch.

Oh, and while he isn't a case for tomorrow?


Keep J on a short ****ing leash. J's play has been incredibly shadowy and manipulative in how he approaches things. Not in a scummy way, but in a preservative "don't want to light the powder keg" way. If J is scum, he will be most likely to attempt to move town towards a mislynch and make you think it was someone else's idea.

So careful on that. Don't let J choose your lynch targets.
