Smash Legend
I don't have much to say. Mario Kart 8 looks cool but I might rather spend my money on a game shown at E3. Hype for SSB4, Monolithsoft's X, Zelda Wii U and maybe a new Metroid for 2015.

If you'd be so kind, please test the following things.Gonna be at the smashfest event in San Fransico tomorrow, I'll be sure to blab as much about Link as I can bros.
Won't lie, I'm considering purchasing a Wii U just for Hyrule Warriors at this point.Forget Smash 4. I'm looking forward to Zelda WiiU and Hyrule Warriors now!
Just kidding, all three are equally hype.
Got it, You can count on me. I'mma try out every little trick Link had in brawl and come back with a list of what still works. If I had to guess, I don't think DACUS or bombslide will work, Quickdraw arrows/BombSmash/ OoS Jump, grab, and bombthrow should work.If you'd be so kind, please test the following things.
1. Does his Zair function the same way it did in Brawl? (That is to say, does it still retain the benefit of having no landing lag?)
2. Are the Quick Draw arrow shots still a thing?
3. Is DACUS still a thing?
4. Is jumping out of shield still a thing? (This may seem like a silly one to request for testing, but I've somehow become a little paranoid that they'll tamper with this mechanic...)
5. Is shield grabbing still a thing? (See 4.)
6. Is throwing bombs out of shield still a thing?
7. Is f-smashing while holding a bomb still a thing?
8. Is bomb sliding still a thing?
Thanks. <3
Kinda hard to read too much into one match (especially when the camera keeps cutting back and forth) but it doesn't really look like Link is collectively all that much better, just from what I can see. Unless there's a combo or some nice ATs we didn't get to see, I'm thinking his ceiling is gonna be bottom of mid tier. At least he has a recovery now (although that was never really his biggest issue).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK8En6dIdAg
Link gameplay at 105:02-110:15.
Link's old final smash is back :/
The Melee elitists? Those guys are so unreasonable it's hilarious - making judgments before the metagame is even born. Just share what Sakurai said to them:But yeah. I'm going to remain neutral about Smash 4. I'll buy it for the 3DS and give it a try but that's as far as I go. Melee players in my community are already *****ing about it because it's not Melee 2.0 like they want and "It's going to cause problems for the community" etc. If you guys want, we can all pitch in to buy a **** ton of pop corn and watch the salt fly when the flame wars between the Melee community and Smash 4 players start and just enjoy the show.
I am disappointed.Just got back from Best Buy Smashfest. That was probably the worst smash game I've ever played in my life. If there are any changes that are gonna be made to the game before release, they need to be done soon. That game needs a serious makeover.
Edit: Also, @Captain Zack , Zelda is hella nerfed in Smash 4. She can't double b-air anymore (can't even autocancel a single b-air or any aerial for that matter), dins's fire is slower and only goes 1/3 of it's original distance and can't even vertically control it very well, Nayru's has a smaller hitbox, and the phantom is terrible. Worst version of Zelda I've seen yet.
LMFAOOOOOO I don't even think he's a mod anymore.Buzz plz bannerino this posterino ^
Yoooo, that lag on fair though? :DEdit, lots of Link gameplay footage here:

Oh, you're still a TEXAS NATIVE. BLASPHEMY. You're not jumping back at Best Buy on Saturday for a Round 2? What were you up to in NorCal this week if I may ask.Met Oddler at the event, got to talk about a bunch of stuff, and he's a totally cool guy who doesn't afraid of anything.
Great to meet you man, small world indeed, and though I'm headed back to Texas saturday, I hope to see more of you in the future.
