I have a passive ability that may be compromised by making such information public as it would not take too far of a logical leap to make the conclusion if mafia has a role that is even slightly similar.

Since I was outed as Watcher, I figured scum would target less-obvious people with their stuff. Raziek was someone who had generally NO connections but still had a bit of content that made multiple people find him townie. I thought he was a likely NK target.

People I was choosing between:
Not a Hufflepuff
Dooms
T-block
Xonar
Raziek

Xonar had his claimed passive so I doubted he would be a target. T-block had become a non-presence later on and people (namely Ryker) started calling him scum so I figured scum would forget about him/leave him alive. Not a Hufflepuff was an obvious choice to Watch so I was pretty sure if scum had no way to stop my result they would certainly stay away from him. That left Dooms and Raziek. Dooms was unlikely as well with the calls for him being docced.

Turns out none of it mattered.

Who should I have chosen?

It could be anything. Vig could be a fake claim as a scare tactic for him to give himself more power as town or scum. It could also be real. The one-shot cop could be fake as a way for him to push Nabe and explain why he didn't shoot when he promised to. It could also be real.

Xonar threatened a weird *** bus driver type deal. I wouldn't hate seeing him dead, but I've no reason to test that right now. Mainly, I don't want people trusting him if I should die.

If he's town, he's a high profile NK target, especially if they are scared of a vig with a hypothetical roleblocker. If they roleblock him, then it doesn't matter. If he gets shot at, but not protected, then it also doesn't matter.

It is an un-CCed investigative claim that is able to put results on the table that can be confirmed. It's not rocket science. Watcher is a pretty bulletproof claim on D1 until you've been given a chance to show it (not counting for CC).
