Of course it is but it sums up to that. On a keto diet you still have to eat on a deficit to lose the weight right? You can't go overboard with your calories and expect to lose weight cause you cut your carb intake. You eat below your maintenance caloric amount to lose weight and above it to gain more.

Actually you don't need to eat at a deficit to lose weight on a keto diet. It helps, but isn't necessary. For example, I eat about 1k less kcal than my BMR on average and I haven't lost any weight or body mass in 4 weeks, yet there have been times where I've pigged out and lost an upwards of 5 pounds in a week.

@Hulk/Akuma:

Again, it depends on how your body uses what you eat. There ARE people that are genetically predisposed to be slim their entire life, even if they eat thousands of calories, and hundreds of carbs on a daily basis. There is also MY family that diet constantly and struggle to STAY at their target weight, or even just a few pounds over their ideal weight for the rest of their life. Genetics, hormones, what you eat, how you eat all make huge differences in how your body handles food.

Oh I know I totally have fat burning genes lol.

Feels good man, until possible hereditary baldness kicks in. Then I kill myself.

Wow he's really cute.

Hulk, of you're worried about baldness, take an anti-androgen. Blocking t stops male pattern baldness, and increases hair growth.

I worry about balding everyday.

Not. :3

But seriously, my dad's side of the family has pretty bad balding, yet my mother's has zero history of it. Looks like I get to play the genomic lottery. Better enjoy the Asgardian locks while I can.

I've been growing mine for God only knows how long! I've had long hair since I was about 13, so about 9 years. Though, I kept it at a certain length for many years. I'm growing it out to my mid-back now.

Does your hair just grow slowly or do you have dry hair like I do?

My hair actually grows at an okay rate
It's slowed down because my ends are suddenly really splitty
I have special shampoo and conditioner now though. I'm just so used to choppin my hair above my shoulders xD

Looks super snazzy though, dude :o looks like you take very good care off your hair. A lot of guys I know who have long hair don't maintain it so well >__> so mad props sir

Thank you very much, ma'am. :colorful:

I had the same issue you do with split ends. That's why I kept it at the same length for so long because if I let it get any longer, it'd split like crazy. Then I started getting trims once every month and a half or so and started using:

That stuff is terrific because, while it doesn't fix split ends (nothing really can), it binds them together long enough to let your hair grow without breaking off.

I realllllly like this lighting thing I found. It makes me look so pale and ghosty. Which... is pretty cool.

Who doesnt like looking ghosty? :D

Mane 'n Tail is surprisingly effective on human hair. I used it for the longest time before switching to ole Head 'n Shoulders. Also, Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhdaaaaaaaamn @ Verm. Dat epic, stare-off-into-the-distance pose.

And Shortie...you look like a victim of hypothermia. Add a little blue to your lips, and BAM! Perfection of a imitation of a human popcicle. Still, that's kind of a neat effect.

I've been using Mane n' Tail when I first had it 2 years ago, but then stopped.
I didn't know it would be that useful until now, lol.

LOL

Wasn't even intentional. The wind was blowing and I wanted a picture 'cause my hair looked kinda neat and I ended up averting my eyes so my hair wouldn't blow in my face. :dizzy:

Like Wretched said, they're for humans and horses.

It's incredible. To my knowledge, the coconut oil in the conditioner is what binds the hairs together long enough for them to grow out. If you use it regularly, they stay bound until you stop using it.

I don't know why the picture came out so weird! My arms look abnormally huge and my torso looks tiny LOL.

I'm pretty jelly of Vern's luscious locks. Now that I've gone short, I kinda wish I had long hair again...but short is sooo much easier to manage c:

Was at a charity dinner for the Stroke Foundation last night. Also happened to be my bday. One of the bloggers I went with brought along a candle for me to put into dessert :3c

Also, I'm planning a seven day backpacking on the Appalachian trail this June. It will hopefully go better than my last attempt, and I will hopefully come back with some sweet pictures and videos.

I use Rehab and Retread from Lush with some H'suan Wen Hua when I don't have dreads.
Since I bleach the **** out of it and it's in 'ok' condition after all of that abuse, these shampoos and **** must be beast.

Man, like I said before, I think that you pull dreads off nicely, but I can't image how it must feel to not have your locks cascading in the morning sun adrift the aeolian zephyrs of the north. :3

Now entering Verm hair montage

because I really like dreads and they're easy to care for/style/etc for me. I am waiting for my hair to get really long before wearing it loose. Dreads help immensely with the 'let it grow out and do nothing with it until then' part. Braids keep the hair protected, I'm not processing it as much because I can just get colored dreads, etc etc.

I actually got another set installed yesterday. Brb.

Incandescent lighting + light shades of orange/deep shapes of yellow = potato/russet color.

Though, here in eastern Oregon, that'd totally fly, since our one major commodity is potatoes. Our water comes from potatoes, our air comes from potatoes, our women come from potatoes, our cars from potatoes and our potatoes come from potatoes.
