i hate contacts with a passion. so annoying. not even the putting in process, but just the drying out over the course of the day and slowly ****ing your eyes part.

during my senior year of high school, i had a glass blowing class that required looking directly into a giant super hot furnace to heat up glass. i wore contacts one day while at that class, and even with protective glasses it was a horrible decision. it like did permanent damage to one of my eyes, haha. hurt like a mother for the rest of the day too. my eye literally got burned from the combination of super heat and contacts.
