Smashers Confirmed Attending:
RPGfan (Las Cruces, NM)
Pinkchukks (Las Cruces, NM)

Location: 1230 South Solano Drive
Time: Starts at11AM ends, when it ends.
Venue: The venue closes at 9:00PM
Entry Fee: 5 bucks per tourney.
Venue Fee: 10 bucks, or FREE entry if you bring a full set consisting of:
1 TV, 1 System, and 1 Game, 1 Controller other than your own is optional though but it would help us out.
Prize: 55 / 30 / 15
Food will be provided, so don't worry about leaving to eat.

Also, The Venue Fee is a little higher than usual, because we'll be having these tourneys going on the same day:
Halo Tourney
Yu-Gi-Oh Tourney
Call of Duty Tourney
Tetris
Marvel vs Capcom 3
Super Street Fighter 4


The melee tourney rules are:
Single Elimination
4 stock matches
7 minute time limit
Best 2 of 3.
Best 3 of 5, 4 stock finals matches.
Items are OFF

neutral stages:

+ Fountain of Dreams
+ Yoshi's Story

counterpick stages:
+ Corneria
+ Rainbow Cruise

THE BRAWL TOURNEY RULES ARE
Single Elimination

Items are OFF including smash ball.

Counterpick stages

The Smash 64 Tourneys Rules
Single Elimination
4 stock matches
7 minute time limit
Best 2 of 3.
Best 3 of 5, 4 stock finals matches.
Items are OFF

Neutral/Counterpick Stages
* Peach's Castle
* Congo Jungle
* Hyrule Castle
* Dream Land
* Saffron City


Match Flow:
First Match: Random Stage Pick (Legal Random Stages will be set)
Second Match: Loser Picks Legal or Counterpick Stage for second match (Loser also CAN switch character)
(If loser of first match wins second match, loser of second match picks legal or counterpick stage for third match)
until one person has won 2 matches.

If time limit is reached, whoever has the most stock left wins.
If stock is tied, person with the least damage percentage wins.
If both stock and percentage are tied, one last final match will be made with 1 stock each on the same stage.
Camping and Wobbling is not allowed.
Lucas's or Falco's Glitches to keep opponents bouncing on the platform to knock he/she out in one blow, are not allowed.
Other Matter is Subject to Verification.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Bring your own controller. We can't stress this enough.
Be respectful of others, no excessive cussing or flaming.
We are not responsible for stolen items, and please label them with your name before contributing.
You will have 3 minutes after your name has been called for your match, if you do not appear, you will be disqualified.

A little about myself though...
I am RPGfan, I am the president of "Game Knights" a gaming organization from Las Cruces. I also decided to start some local Power Rankings. More info on the scoring system will come later. I think the The New Mexico Smash Community is fairly large, and I think we can at least establish some good power ranks. So anyone in the world may attend and have a chance for the pot, but only New Mexicans can get ranked in this tourney if they wish to.
