yea i am

chinese just seems like a crude language overall

only nice thing about it is how pretty the characters look when written well (calligraphy etc); otherwise the system is basically inferior in most aspects to any alphabetical language since you have to memorize a new word/picture for every new word you learn as opposed to constructing things via an alphabet

also it just sounds unpleasant

I'm a mixed Filipino-Chinese-Japanese.

Tagalog sounds meh for me, too. I'd learn it only for the sake of communicating with family.

I visit a community about J-pop and Tokyohive sometimes, they are soooooo pressed about K-pop in Japan sometimes, made me sad =(
