Marth is only good if you're consistent with reads and tippers, otherwise he's a pansy.

You don't need to tipper farts :D

But hey go with the character you feel the most comfortable with, honestly, Marth is a good choice for his ground speed and frame data, if you're into that. Look up the matchup exports or something and figure it out. Nothing wrong with triple maining the three of them either.

the only gay mu pit has is MK, wario, marth, falco. those also happen to be his best choices as secondaries.

pick which set of statistics you prefer in your secondary. sounds like you like wario which is good because it only leaves marth as your bad match up.

"Not finished yet." And when will that be? At least I've put in the work for my thread. It took hours finalizing, tweaking, and editing the results thread. I've found numerous results that would not even be in the thread had I not looked them up.

May my tournament results thread be stickied? I spent A LOT of time into that to make it look presentable to the entire community, and to spark more interest in Pit's development.

ya gadiel i sry i didn't mean to seem like i don't think your threads important. i just saw your post for the first time today. i haven't been on the social board often as i have the other boards. i didn't know stickying your thread was even in question. of course the tourney results thread should be stickied. wat we should unsticky is the frame data one since there is a link to it in the ULTIMATE GUIDE already which means it technically stickied twice.

i haven't really played an olimar that knows what they are doing so i don't know ill just agree. and i do agree pit doesn't neeeeed a secondary but i like the diversity of two characters. playing just pit makes me tire of him. and vice versa when i used to main marth. so now i have a perfect balance of 70% Pit 30% Marth

I think olimar only ***** when you let him have his space. When you find an opening being patient, like tl, its pretty much **** them while they try to escape.

i like the frame data thread being sticked though, that way its quicker to find; i think the only thing missing from the frame data thread is the frame advantage on grab release

Don't let this get you down. Stuff happens. I kind of take it as a lesson, that player skill is usually much more important than the character you are using. In a way its comforting since you know that winning or losing is up to you, and that the character you are using is more like an extension of your own unique style than anything else.

......of course some styles are a bit better than others (*cough* mk *cough*) but at a lower to medium level of play this isn't as huge of a deal.
