not going to argue. But Combo Video's are to show off. So i doubt most of those clips aren't top players.. I know how they work, I've been there
This was random, you came out of nowhere! Where have you been!? It sounds more like your jealous and mad about the video, and no duh that most of the combos are hard to pull off vs top players. :embarrass: And CYVE beat Leon and Quik and a lot of high level EU players at a recent tournament, so you shouldn't really be saying much, lol.

what you do is as you approach the ledge you hold down and away. At least that's how rain or kakera does it. There's another way i'm not aware of though.

I figures as much, away to slope back to level, down to not grab the ledge. then of course you press A to cancel it
I cant think of any other ways though

This is funny because I was just practicing the gliding without grabbing the edge this weekend. Its funny that we find about the same things at the same time. There's more stuff I'm working on too. And does that mean Pit has an infinite if we can footstool arrow?

No, because we don't have a move that will lock an opponent every time.

edit: optimistically, if there is enough time to even arrow loop>footstool, it could potentially net 80-100% so it could still be good and end with a charged smash. Don't get your hopes up though, would benefit more practicing that glide technique.

Ok, I found some new things, Idk if it will work, but we might be able to hit more areas w/ arrows. I found out that you can actually control the arrow slightly with the c-stick only. I'm guessing that we might be able to combine the c-stick & control stick for more accurate arrows. The Japanese Pits might already do this, but idk, and I haven't tested it fully.

That's really old. I remember Marharba talking about that like 2 years ago

wat damix said

also

tbh gadiel if they sdi the move we lock them with there is no way in hell that it could infinite. im not even sure it normally can. not to crush hopes because if you can make it work and it's legit than by all means advance the metagame. use this to help you see the footstool part http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bx6zz4Wda-M&feature=player_detailpage#t=245s

and i figured the glide out now. trela showed me. just hold down to not grab the ledge and attack to lagless cancel

Pretty sure you can buffer a directional input with the c-stick out of an arrow to get perfect "slanted" arrows everytime.

Wow, we went back to discussing arrow loops again...? Smh.
You can blame me for that, I was thinking that we might have an infinite using an arrow loop to a footstool.
How long until somebody mentions Danny?

:phone:
Danny is the unspoken God of Pit. We know he's there, but he isn't always noticed by people, but the people that know him, KNOW what he's capable of and how good he is. Where is he anyway? I asked Se!brik to hook me up w/ his facebook, but he said he wouldn't want to talk about Pit.

Also, did anyone else notice that upsmash works really good vs Diddy? It sucks him in, and punishes hits on Pit's shield almost everytime. I'm learning that we can use upsmash like Sheiks & Falco's use Dacus. Just try to predict their jumps, and then go for the very far sliding upsmash.

I think jab is a better punish out of shield then a lot of our moves including grab sometimes. I keep using upsmash OOS, but it almost never connects because they are spaced away, and the range is almost strictly vertical unless they are right inside Pit.

^^^That's too sad, Se!brik told me there are either Geniuses in this game or people who are taught, and Danny was a Genius because no one taught him how to play Pit the way he played.

What are some ways you Pits practice? Aib is down, and I'm kind of a training mode monster, but Idk what more I can practice besides tech skill.

Dont forget Sonics and their Steak somewhere, at least that's how I remember em by (why no chili dogs).

Now if only they'd discuss MUs and other actually important things to help Pit improve as intense as they're discussing fancy tricks and super old Pit players...

The ike boards have spent-at least-the last 20 pages discussing 2 subjects
1. who's jab is better? ike vs. luigi
2. How to make dubstep decent

I think all socials are like this now

I already know that, which was why I gave up on helping a year ago. They're just into being social instead of talking about meaningful things anymore, and then there's elitists that tend to put down certain players (like me).

But that I don't care about too much because they can't accept me or my styles, let alone understand my differences.

Being social is pretty meaningful lol.

edit: hey ike guy, is that esca quote talking about MVD? or maybe it was another snake player lol
Trufax right there
And yes it is

But that I don't care about too much because they can't accept me or my styles, let alone understand my differences.
damnit its so hard to explain what i mean about you and social stuff, I cant think of the right words for the job >.<

the thing is, People wouldnt mind at all, its just the way that you set yourself up as a martyr of society. It feels like you purposely express yourself in a way that makes people dislike you just so you can say 'I told you, I cant fit into society'
Not meant to be mean, Just telling it how it is
