Thing is, I'm not sure if I trust the wikias 100% yet... According to some con-goer, they asked him if he was voicing Pit, to which he replied "no." So I guess it depends on who you believe.

New Kingdom Hearts seems really interesting too, but I am less hyped for it because
- I don't have a PS2, so I can only play the previous games when I'm visiting Mako. :( I'm about.... Oh, maybe 4 hours into the original.
- Been forever since Pit's had his own game! This is the one that sealed E3 2010 as my favorite press conference so far.
- Dialogue. Just...dialogue. Seriously. Some people don't like it, but I enjoy cheesy stuff like this way too much. This is coming from someone who has Cannibal! the Musical and Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog on their list of favorite movies.

We'll wait. You should see how dumb many YT comments are, still many saying the quality is bad (even though it's just stretched out pixels from a 3DS resolution), and others complaining bout cheesy dialogue. And then there's those that complain bout it having similarities Sin & Punishment, then Star Fox, and blah blah blah.

God, they're idiots. I for one, like all that Kid Icarus has shown us so far.

-Looks and Graphics:
As few have said, it looks better from a 3DS screen, and I'm looking forward to experience the epicness for myself.

-Dialogue:
There aren't many Nintendo games in which characters get to talk a lot, besides a few from StarFox (which is a bit repeated at times... See Peppy) stuff, and a bit of stuff from Metroid: Other M. So why not have Pit talk and all? It fits his cheerful and sometimes overconfident personality, and I for one love it.

However, checking many YT comments does sicken me. Next thing you know, they'll soon rival the annoyingness of the common Sonic Fanboys, no offense to any around here.

But I said this before, but I'm still looking forward to a demo to play, as well as wanting to listen to the music, more weapon and gameplay updates, etc. I could taunt MK's Halberd with a little something, but not atm. I'm still looking all over for any more recent updates.

I'm starting to love the Kid Icarus dialogue even more ever since I looked back at older footage.

Oh, Pit, how I love how you've broken the fourth wall about the "Dark Lord" stereotype. <3 You should check it out sometime.

I know, right? In my opinion, so far it might even rival Mother 3's. Which, if you know how I feel about the Mother series, is saying a LOT. <3 "Are you excited!?" Because I know I am.

...("Yeah, it's like a birthday party where everyone's trying to kill me...")

Aha!

And oh boy, that Hewdraw... how its 3 heads argue with itself. You don't see a boss like that these days. I can't wait to fight it myself though. D:
And the Space Kraken? "Well THAT came outta nowhere"... Yep, because every pirate ship needs a giant monster.

Speaking of that Chapter, there's also a special ability with the Bow Pit was using during another gameplay run... Raining arrows...

Plus that difficulty thing, known as Fiend's (or was it Demon's) Calderon, is rather interesting. Considering the normal difficulty is 2, while you can change it between 0.0 and 9.0 (yes, the decimal is necessary), it could get up to over 4x as difficult, too. And I'm aware some ppl may not like playing levels and stuff over again, but with the possible rewards for doing so, I wouldn't mind at all.

Oh, and you may want to enjoy this music. I know I did.

Bring on more Pit hype! <3 Dialogue, music, beautiful scenery, and chaos, everywhere!

I like it.

AP, I now know what kind of music pleases you.

You should look into Skies of Arcadia's music, it's really good. But not as good as this, since it's aged a bit worse than some of Nintendo's junk. But I love Skies <3

I've played it before, but my heart and mind's set on Uprising. I really should post some more gameplay of it if you want. I wanted to make some theories and think about what might be in there, since the game's "gone gold" already. Again, it's a different meaning than the music's term.

Where'd you find this music??? I want more. I have to put this on Brawl. :p I generally have two different kinds of songs on there. Epic and/or orchestral, such as Mother3, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Zelda... And then I have Persona, Vocaloid, Sonic Adventure, etc. I guess that's the kind of stuff I'm into.

Fiend's Cauldron sounds pretty awesome. Sounds fitting for the sequel of a ridiculously hard game to have a system like this. I better learn how to win fast, though, because I'm tempted to set it to 9.0 through the entire playthrough. xD

By all means, show us more gameplay! :p I would love to see something new. ...Y'know, maybe the recognition Pit gets from Uprising might bring in some new Pit mains... Maybe... *sigh*

I hope Kid Icarus Uprising is a way to show that the old characters we know and love that were brought to the light through smash deserve some remakes as well.

Ice Climbers (an awesome adventure in it's own right)
ROB (It'd be a small game though)
Ga...Game and Watch? ... Hm... (I'd put him in some mini-game spin off like Wario ware, only not so brain dead and quick)

Kid Icarus: Uprising
Ice Climbers: Cold Ruins
ROB: Tech-Specs
G&W: 1000 Mega Games

I'd like to see more underrepresnted series too remade.

;-; Too bad the chances of actually getting Earthbound 4 OR any more English ports are low...

Actually, Ice Climbers wasn't that terrible of a game. Not the best, but it at least entertained me longer than NES Open Tournament Golf. e.e I can't use a character unless I've played their game first, so I tried it out, even though I ended up dropping them as a secondary. xD"

...As a matter of fact, Uprising might be responsible for my own decision to main Pit. '-' After watching E3 2010, I wanted to play the original again... I played it a while before, but I never beat it. So, I plugged in the NES and got out my sister's old copy. A few months later, I went to an anime convention. I played a bit of Brawl there and a friend of mine convinced me to sign up for the tournament. At that time I was just a casual who mained Ness, but still having Kid Icarus in my mind, I played around with Pit. My friend told me I was better with him, so I used him the whole tourney. 'Been a part of Palutena's army ever since. Not regretting it. <3

._." ...Oh, jeez. I didn't mean to tell my life story right there. XD"

Found that song on the JP website that plays in the background, but was never able to be downloaded, til I searched for that YT vid of course.
As for gameplay, I only have some for Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4 (I can't remember where 4 is yet, but I haven't found recent stuff bout it), and only a bit from 8. Pretty much 1-3, and 8 for sure.

When I'm fixed on something, I usually don't give up on it too easily, especially if I love it. For Uprising's case, I've recently tried staying up-to-date every day now. So how do you want me to show what I have for now? What would interest you?

18 hours, huh? I know how that feels... Not often that I get a free day like this. Well, take your time. I'm in no rush.

AP, I don't think I've seen any of chapter 8 yet. Any new footage is great, but I do like story and dialogue in particular.

Here it is, though it's in Japanese. Could have sworn there was a vid that translated the thing.
Enjoy what you see from 0:49... Raining arrows anyone?
Since I'm showing you said gameplay, I might as well tease the Halberd now since I haven't seen it fly into space like that thing does.

Still loved Ch.2 bout Pit breaking that 4th wall, though. And then that sweet convo between him and Palutena in the castle. You know what I mean. <3 I'm totally calling that those 2 should be together.

Oh space boat, how I love thee. Though I have no idea what it's doing in Skyworld. ...But Chapter 2 is still the best so far. Taking on walls AND fourth walls.

...And yes, I have to admit THAT conversation was my favorite. ->.>- Hilarious and adorable. Did I mention adorable? ...I MEAN WHAT. I TOTALLY wasn't fangirling over that. I do not know what you are talking about.

Technically Pit's flying around in the Star Constellations in that Chapter, number 8, meaning he's in space.

And I knew you'd love it. That adorable convo beats the Hewdraw arguing with itself, and that's saying a lot. Must have more of it.

In other news, I'm still waiting on any update bout the animated shorts and all. I cannot wait!

I started snooping again for more info from recent "impressions" about the game, and it seems Dark Pit may make his debut in the game starting in Chapter 6, who will be attacking you throughout the level, both in the air and on the ground, and though there's no footage of said chapter, we can only imagine on how it'll be like, though he'll most likely be the boss of said chapter.

Still wonder if Pandora (3rd boss of the original Kid Icarus) will be in there somewhere. I mean Twinbellows and Hewdraw made it in, so one can assume that Pandora might be in later on.

Regardless, now we wait for more epic Pit stuff and info to unfold.

Correct buffering, pivot arrows/pivot side b on command(read: not messing up and being able to do either interchangably and consistently), chaingrabs, WoI movement, and spacing. That's all you should should be doing really. Though WoI movement is my personal thing. I sometimes practice looping as well.

there isn't much you can practice that's worthwhile without an opponent. if you can pivot arrow or cg, learn that but it is really easy, it shouldn't take you more than 30 mins to perfect it on everyone possible

eidt:

if you can't manuever WOI, you don't have fingers. spacing is better worked on actual people but i guess you can get the feel of spacing certain things on coms, not too reliable because you want human reactions, not cpu ****ty reactions

The fact that you mentioned cpu+reaction means your training the wrong way -.-

And by WoI movement i'm including being able to change the aerial i want, how to autocancel from every possible location and other things.

Not just flying around -.-

It's very beneficial to practice spacing with any character. Some more than others.

Pit, marth, mk are a few that are characters that benefit from simple spacing training against coms.

no it doesn't. a cpu is not gonna react to a perfect spaced fair the same as a person is. unless u just mean practicing trying to tip/use best hitbox as spacing that stuff should be second nature if you've been playing this long. doing it under pressure during an actual match with consistent perfection is the only time it is hard, hence why i said that.

i didn't think people had a problem cancelling WOI from different trajectories, it's easy, it's the same distance above whatever you are cancelling for everything, from wing dash to divebomb to diagonal platform cancel. the actual cancel spot is always the same.

What else Kuro? I'm listening, and I'm open cuz I want to do better with Pit. How do you cancel up-b on the ground to a grab like in that video from ADN?

I beg to differ. I've spent countless hours in training mode just moving around and getting the spacing down for Pit's attacks. I can practice even without the Wii because I go through different scenarios in my head and think about what I would do in that situation. You don't necessarily need an opponent to practice.

You can cancel it by pushing up on the control stick and down on the c stick while holding shield then press A or c stick up to grab. The tech isn't that useful though because any smart opponent who sees you in woi knows Pit is vulnerable.
