Hey Pits, if you are looking for some ways to improve, I find the street fighter tutorial vids to be helpful. I think their community places a greater emphasis on the basics of fighting games, and that's something we could all benefit from.

Yo, I like your Pit option choices like those wing refresh and glide attack followup on bf, but you do some really unsafe move choices and landings. You need to work on your followups better. Don't use dash attack at low percent, it's not safe. Take your time when your recovering from the ledge and mix it up. Also, you waste too many jumps when you recover, like you'll do an extra jump for no reason. Maybe tap jump OFF would help you. I'm just being straight up real with you so you can grow brother, love you Maharba

well everyone over at sync's got salty because the one time they see me play someone who plays almost as gay as i do in friendlies, i just try to go in and be aggro like i've been practicing. i normally plank in a completely different way but all i wanted to do was get back onstage and keep going in. like i mean **** this was denti i was against. if i could beat him without resorting to my gay *** planking that i do in friendlies, i would have gained a lot of respect. oh and just so yall know denti is 5th on the texas PR so the fact i even got stocks off of him is good for me.
oh and just for referance, olimar don't have many options when he get dash attacked by pit at any percent if you hit with just the tip. but ima post this in the critique thread now. it's too bad you guys don't have a vid of me playing how i do at syncs so that yall can compare. it's not as good, but i play a lot more gay. god damn it i don't know what came over me against him. i should've just tried to time him out instead legitly win like i would have done in friendlies. if i had my head on straight i would have gone hella low done 1-2 uairs where no-one can hit me, and then scrooged. instead all i did was try to get on with nair cancel and ****. but enough salt ima put this in the critique thread for you guys to pick apart.

Yea I watched game 1 of that. If I had gotten such an early lead on an Olimar, I would have milked it. You would have been much better off just trying to trade with him or at least defend yourself on stage. You more or less just messed around and let him hit you. On Battlefield, you can camp the top platform and Olimar has to commit to high and laggy Up B or Uair to even touch you. Not to mention he won't be able to follow up. Try it if you strike to that again.
You can't really plank olimar with an LGL for long. After that first stock he was never going to risk getting reversed off stage again.
I don't see whats wrong with Dash Attack. How is it any less safe at low percents? It seems like thats the best time to use it for combos. Pit's sword beats his pikmin stuff and arrows safely deal with pivot grabs. If you had gotten closer, I think you would have had a better shot at mixups.
Also, why did you keep approaching him on the Olimar part of frigate. You are supposed to plank and scrooge during that and approach on the easy gimp transformation. You lost 2 stocks approaching into that mess. Its okay if you are losing if you wait for the right times to gimp Olimar.
