I have noticed that once kirby swallow snake's ability his combat skill drastically improves >.>

you also can mention he can dair cancel snakes up smash if hes approaching.

Instead, why don't you try holding the shield button while taking out a grenade to drop it and grab it. You can float directly to Snake and spot dodge just before it explodes. This way, you can blast him and not get blast yourself.
