Link ditto's help you learn a great deal about your main. They are useful to play.

But you need to play more than Link ditto's play every character in brawl and **** so you understand the match up.

the only thing that makes me good at link dittos is link is gimp-able at 40% and people can't kill me till ridiculous %'s lol

I think they're called "tourneys." Like Axis and stuff. That'll convert **** into US currency. Then, you can change it into any other currency that's worth more like the yen or euro.

connection was red when we stopped playing, we played some freindlies too, but we stopped play cause of the lag, so I guess it was like yellow when we played the four "real" matches.

I wasn't seriously considering changing the name, but Hero of Wifi....thats pretty good...hmm.

The idea of letting other characters play interesting but one of the reasons I want to keep it a Link ditto challenge board only is for our Link community to play each other and see/learn new techniques and strategies.

also, gamebattles has gotten less dumb and stopped using 4 stocks, now 3 stocks and I hope that they have a time limit rule as well... I think they took off Pokemon Stadium off of random neutral, and I'm hoping they took off LC too.

Well, the reason I suggest inviting other character boards is being good at Link dittos wont give you the necessary skills and tactics to win other matchups like MK. Against Link you spam a lot for extample. Against MK you have to play completely differently. Maybe you can do 2 sections for the challenge board, one for Link dittos and one for Link vs others, and you can put the scores together for an overall score.

Well said Deva but that's in terms of practice against other match ups. This thread seems, more or less, a thread for fun and to see where each player ranks among other Link mainers. In the little Link mainer tier list, I think I'm mid tier. That's kind of what people want to do. See how good they are.

Yeah but, you can't really tell how good you are if it's wifi lol. But still, that's why I suggest 2 sections. One for Link ditto rankings, and one for overall rankings. One for fun, one for improving. The only real purpose of wifi is to learn the general strategies of other matchups. Lag makes it too difficult to really know how to play against a good player competitvely, but wifi will show you in general how to play a matchup, and I think that's important for the Link boards and improving his metagame. . .potentially raising him on the tier list if enough of us got good.
