Hey Kmatt, how's Xenoblade going for you? *curious as to what other stories he has to tell*
I haven't actually played it in a while. The last thing I remember is being on the Bionis'... thigh? It was right before you make it back to the sniper girl's city that was overrun by Mechon, and you're in thesse tunnels that you have to follow the illuminated walls for. I fought a crap ton of Mechon, had a chest spawn on a slope, and spent ~10 minutes trying to open it.

I hadn't been playing because little Carly (as in "story time") was impatiently waiting to see how the Reaper's game would end, and I had to do a mad rush to kill all of TWEWYs hidden bosses and find all of the items. That and the pigs. Those damned pigs.

Additionally my friend Andrei (he's from Belarus) has me go on SC2 about every other night to play 2v2 with him. Couple that with an Eagle scout project, and as crazy as it sounds to hear myself say, I'm actually almost busy for once in my life. I still have the voice of Japanese Shulk trying to say, "Stream Edge" stuck in my head.

However, the teachers at my school are on strike. Again. Which means I get a week off, the 12th grade class doesn't take finals, and summer is delayed until the end of June. Not sure if want.

I still have these moments every time level 80 spiders drop down out of bloody hammerspace.

because regardless of being pro or anti ban its an interesting change of pace and an mk banned tournament on a national scale is going to be hype no matter what

Because Jigglypuff does not have an UpB recovery.

Puff tourneys the only viable tourney.

You guys need to check out the e3.

Borderlands 2 looks too good and has made the Guinness world record for the most weapons in the game.

Why would I wake up early to sit through underwhelming hour and a half conference streams when I can watch the highlights on YouTube as soon as the conferences end?

EDIT: Also, did anyone else catch this little detail on Sony All-Stars' (or whatever it's called) preview?

Truth. The actual interesting parts are going to be covered in highlight vids and articles after they sift through the crap anyway. I have much better things to do with my time than watching game companies flop around desperately onstage trying to make fps#92748502847401736 look buyable.

Like watching paint dry. Or licking a cactus.

Nintendo's conference this year wasn't as epic as previous years, but I really loved the Pikmin 3 segment. Wii U is looking to be a very interesting gaming system.

I think Nintendo's main problem this year was how little stage time Reggie, Miyamoto, and Iwata had and how much stage time they gave to those boring CEOs from other companies. Just let them come on, say "Here's our game" and leave after a trailer. Most of them didn't know how to deliver speeches, which is surprising considering the boardroom career they've landed. :\

I actually don't know who anyone in the game except Sly Cooper is, but I like Sly Cooper, so I think I'd like this game. XD

Except when I watched the presentation video, I don't know how you tell how much health you have. That bar is for something called "Supers" (which seem to be some strong attack, there's 3 different levels of Supers) so if that's not your health... I dunno how to tell what is. ^^;

Cartoon Network Punch Time is a game the C. Falcon boards picked up ironically. People who deliberately play a bad Brawl character played this game and dominated it's online community for the sake of irony.

It's pretty bad.

Yea that Playstation Battle thingy looked very confusing. Everything seemed to have a static amount of knockback, and when they died it was from a heavy hit right on the spot. So launching looks like it has little or nothing to do with gameplay.

And we all know how TMNT SmashUp turned out...

Meow (SoCal Melee player who is worse at Melee than I am at Brawl) went to E3 and got to play Sony's Battle Royale.
...
now for the review comparison... oh hohoho... all of my instincts were right... don't come in expecting smash bros...
Negatives... IT'S TOO DAMN SLOW TO MOVE YOUR CHARACTERS IT'S A CHORE. no cliff hanging. mediocre character textures, no walking... at least to my knowledge... i can't seem to remember if you can... can someone go online and find some video footage of walking in PS all stars?

it is dreadfully unrefined, but then again, i don't expect this to be the final product.
This guy does mention that he doesn't expect this to be the finished product so the game may turn up alright. In the meantime he should work on not using ellipsis points every two words. I read this liek chopped up prose, lmaooooz.

He also made another post with the following claims:
Big Daddy and Parapa have very short and simple combos.
Katos' grabs are broken as ****.
Controls were alright.
You can't move with an item in hand like you can in Smash.
You can only score kils via super move (which is either useless or broken).
And (brace yourself for this one) that
he feels that we're lucky to have Sakurai after all.

That last claim really makes me wish I could find the post. The thread where this was posted moves too damn fast. =/

Yeah, don't try digging through the WiiU thread, if that's where you're referring to.

It's just... not... worth it.

Yeah, everyone in that thread is a rabid fanboy of something stupid.

I just +1 in there every now and then since there's always someone whose posts reek of trollbait.

Seeing Kano in a Disney movie simply amazed me, you know.
And not to mention that zombie from house of the dead.

And what made me want to see this movie even more is that rich moore is the goddamn director. That is freaking cool.

Don't forget, Disney also owns Marvel. It's not likely since they're saving all Marvel material for new movies, but we might see a villain or two in there.

While the movie itself looked like a snorefest, I saw Bowser, Q-bert, and Clyde and was interested.

...but it's made by Disney >_<
