Best way to practice? Play 1v1 with somebody who can kick your ***. Playing with someone who is just as good as you is also very good, but you learn SO much more by losing. Sounds weird, but watch as you improve, then talk to me.

Never play online, the lag only encourages bad habits. The only excuse for playing online is if you live in the middle of nowhere and you have to travel very far distances to play offline. Even then, try your best to make it to tournies.

Everyday is cool is you have a sparring partner that lives near you and stuff, but it doesn't HAVE to be that often. Weekends, or just a few times a week will do just fine.

Once I get home from spring break im gonna try to be a little more frequent.

I'll ask you where people live once I got my schedule down, and permission to spend nights off base (will have to be weekends though). I want to play some BRAWL but the base I'm currently at is really very crappy in terms of freedom.

Not bad! If I'm in port for a while (and here's hoping I am), then I'll definitely have to hit Keeby up. I'll be on an LHA (SSZ7 should know what that is, we might meet on a ship sometime in the future if the conditions are right lol), so I'll be spending lots of time onboard.

If I'm freshly picking up a new character to mess around with, I'll just play around with a lv.9 CPU 'til I get a feel for the character. Then I'll drop the computer down to a lv.6 and try and play out matches with that MU strategy in mind. If the character has ATs or CGs, this is also when I try to use and perfect the use of those. Then I'll go online and find scrubs who have great connections (which isn't hard if you put the extra effort to make your connection great first), and I'll play them as I would play the lv.6 CPU. Once I feel I've learned the character, not necessarily become good with said character, I'll start using that character against people who I practice with often on wi-fi, who have the best connection with me (non-existant button lag, or frame lag) and play until I get better with said character.

Well, I've been very busy these last few days because I'm moving from Illinois to Florida in a number of days, so I haven't had the opportunity to take my Wii out of my storage area and set it up on my TV. Once I finish moving I'll be able to do whatever I want, as long as my new classes aren't demanding and force me to pull all-nighters everyday and stuff.

I'll try and get some done these days, but you gave me a loooot of replays, so it's gonna be a while before I can finish everything up.

I find more displeasure in my orthodontist. As cool of a guy as he is, when they bring that grinding wheel of roughness to sand down the glue, the sawdust of bone that coats my mouth for the next few hours is very detrimental to my morale. Good thing I don't have braces anymore.

My dad, being a police officer, is basically on good terms with everyone we meet. One time he ran into my pre-school teacher, who promptly gave him 2 packs of homemade deer jerky. Delicious.

I've never tried homemade beef jerky. I have to say, I'm quite jelly. The market brand is kinda bland IMO, but Slim Jim makes them worth eating. I absolutely love spicy stuff for snacks and meat, so Slim Jim delivers. :D

As for spicy things, there's an Indian restaurant I go to rather often. Pic related, my response every time I smell the air near the place.

I can't have those nice things anymore, the military is very tight in terms of spending (yet some people believe we're swimming in cash). Plus being stuck in a base because I'm a student sucks.
