usually implies training of some sort, in the context of Smashboards it means smash training.

I tried Massive, I got through to like 10 episodes of Dragonball. But I couldn't keep going, too brutal lol but no offense since I know you like that show. But yeah I guess that's a really common phrase I should have known, just never wondered about it when hearing it before
z was epic last sat. night, while I played Raith he mindgamed him for me

i would like dragon ball if it wasnt two minutes of fighting ten minutes of powering up/exposition rinse/repeat for ten episodes. that part alone really turned me off to it :|

The pacing is a lot better and it's more of a comedy show than a LETS GET STRONGER THIS EPISODE show.
The best arc in Z is the Saiyan Saga and it's mostly downhill from there.

I should have clarified, I was talking about the original Dragonball before. I wish I had watched the show when I was a little kid, then i'd marathon it np ><
and I kind of already know I wouldn't like dbz, but one of these days I might give kai a shot like dmac just mentioned
