It doesn't deconfirm them, but it definitely hurts them, both directly and indirectly: Character appears in the game in non-playable role > supporters lose hope > don't vote the character in ballot > character isn't popular enough and doesn't get in (although these characters might not be considered for Smash 4 even if they were popular in the ballot).

However, ballot support helps their chances to get into next Smash, so I agree, you shouldn't give up on the character.

I'm planning on letting all of the game's royals duke it out, myself. :laugh: It'll have to be in groups, though, since there's too many even for Smash Wii U's eight-player mode, and I mainly play the 3DS version anyway.

I personally think it's 100% fake, that voice sounds really weird, but meh... I suppose it's not impossible.

I don't think it's true too...but I wasn't sure because it was too much for me too handle.

Yeah... I gotta say; That does not sound like Iwata, more of an intimidator of him due to the deepness of the voice in the recording, if I needed to be honest. Still, I suppose we'll just have to see if this leak is confirmed or deconfirmed. I do want to see King K Rool get in, btw; he deserves the honor. Besides, we'll have our first playable krocodile if he gets in. :p

He sounds more Hispanic than Japanese, no th = sre's in there either as far as I could hear.

So I'm leaning towards fake, though it would be interesting to have this part of the Direct planned out so early in advance.

It sounds convincing in the beginning but as it goes on it sounds more and more like a fake...


I guess having this kind of stuff happen is good in a way shows that were well known as the popular choice if people want to make fake leaks for the King.

It wouldn't be the first DLC "leak." There was a screenshot edit with K. Rool and Isaac on 4chan a few months ago.
