A little off-topic, but what is everyone's thoughts on DKCR and Tropical Freeze? I personal think TF is the best DKC game yet.

Do you guys think Retro will do a third one with hopefully the glorious return of Kremlings?

I loved DKCR. I do own TF but haven't played it yet since I bought it along with MK8 and SM3DW during a sale at Target which I've been playing first. I will start it sometime today though.

Figured I'd start participating in this thread a little bit more since with Robin confirmed K. Rool is now my 3rd most wanted newcomer behind Mewtwo and Ridley, in that respective order.

Some of you here have probably seen me in the those respective support threads ^ or somewhere else, some of you haven't.

Also, with regards to my history with DK games, I have played through the entire original DKC trilogy, and have played through DKC: Returns (I've also played a tiny, tiny bit of DK 64 and have also played a couple of the spin-off titles like DK: Barrel Blast, etc.)

On the topic of Retro doing a game that will "revive" the Kremlings presence in the DKC games as of right now, I highly doubt it since at this point they seem to be content with running with the new (albeit forgettable, imo) enemies that they've created in DKC: R and TF and (possibly) creating more new enemies for future DKC games that they create.

I recently played through the DK: Country games and DK:64 and I REALLY want him to make it into the Smash Bros 4. roster
He's such an awesome character and I think he would be a great, unique character in Smash :D

I guess I'll join too, K. Rool is easily my most wanted newcomer along with another big baddie. I think what's lacking the most in the newcomer department is a villain, a heavy weight, and a Donkey Kong character. The DK series really deserves to have more characters represent it, more so then any other series at this point, and what better choice then the series main villain? He's also like the most wanted newcomer worldwide, so yeah, in my eye's I see King K. Rool as the best choice for a newcomer.

Imagine if Shulk is revealed and just when it's about to finish his video of him in the game when suddenly a cannonball comes out of nowhere and knocks him off a cliff which then it zooms in to K. Rool holding his blunderbuss then saying "Enough with all these anime pretty boys! it's now my time to have some fun" then it shows footage of K. Rool in action and so forth lol.

Woah. Blast from the past. Peardian is an old buddy of mine. Haven't been in contact since MFGG (old gaming forum) went down the hole.

This game is truly lacking villains at this point, so I'm all-in for King K. Rool. To me he would be the most exciting DK newcomer and one of the easiest potential characters to visualize a moveset for. Surely we'll be getting at least one new villain in this game, right? Plus, he's a giant crocodile who is a king, pharaoh, mad scientist, and a pirate; how could anyone oppose to that?

I think the chances are quite high at this point of getting both K. Rool and Dixie, but I think we'll at least get K. Rool first. Yes, I definitely think we will get a few villains for sure.

Every time they announce that there'll be a Smash Bros. announcement, I was always anticipate K. Rool and I always end up getting disappointed.
I want to get off Sakurai's wild ride.

You also need to think a bit more realistic aswell though, there are empty spots in there roster that other characters may deserve more to fit then K rool.
