Yes, I know. Trying to cross-reference this leak to prove its legitimacy is a lot harder than I thought it'd be. My search engines in particular are not the least bit helpful at any rate, but I kind of find it shocking that as far as I can tell, somebody didn't at least try to break the rules. I know it's Japan and all, but you'd think there'd be some American fans that would also try and leak such information.

But hey? The easiest way to confirm the leak is to either get a leaked image of R.O.B. (from Nintendo, mind you, in a similar vein to Mr. Game & Watch and presumably Jigglypuff), or for Jiggly to get confirmed via pic of the day. The hard way, on the other hand, is trying out as many sources who are willing to spill the beans.

What is it you're looking for? What "leak" is there? All I see is a mockup of the prospective veterans and Gematsu leaked newcomers.

Yeah, I saw that myself, its clearly just a trophy. Would be interesting if there was actually a Steel Driver stage and that was the trophy for the stage, but I doubt it.

Somebody claimed to have spotted Jigglypuff at the World Fair. Whether or not he was referring to gameplay footage or a poster or what is beyond me (it wasn't a reveal trailer though; there were no stations of the sort to reveal characters in such a way). I already posted the link, but remember to replace the * with an "i", so go ahead and check it out.

Didn't Sakurai specifically say each Mii type would be represented as its own character in the game. I would expect that to mean they each get a separate roster spot. Specially since he took away every transformation character.

I think a guy gave evidence to this saying they aren't on three slots in the 1st page. My take is that you can select the class of the mii after you choose them. I mean, why would the whole 36 different moves thing be so special if they were separate slots to begin with that would mean each only has 12, not 36 in total

That's really not how things work. Our eyes are obviously not as good as your own, perhaps you should do some of us a favour and do the 30 seconds of image program work to help us out? Because otherwise, you could be spouting whatever **** you'd like and take people on wild goose chases, which isn't fun. Wouldn't it be weirder if you could have a Beam Special while holding a sword? Or slicing your sword when you only have your bare fists? I think its safe to say all 3 will only have 12 moves and not one character with 36 moves. Take in mind that Mii's were announced before customization was, so at the time of the announcement it was a new concept to us.

What's the difference between Mii Fighters having one slot or 3 slots? The only difference is the perceived number of characters by someone who doesn't know the game.

Sakurai has already stated he considers transformations and alternate characters as their own character when he stated on an interview that Brawl had a total of 39 characters. So whether Mii Fighters have 3 slots or whether they have one make no difference to Sakurai, he already views them as 3 unique characters.

I would argue screen size.

As flimsy as an argument it is, from the mock ups I've seen, the 3ds roster caps out at 47.

While this is obviously not concrete evidence, as someone who believes in the Sal leak, 12 newcomers + 35 Brawl vets is what we're getting, which is a neat 47 slot roster.

Besides, I am lead to believe that if Mii Fighters shared multiple slots, Sakurai would have made separate pages for each form.
