Jab/Uptilt/DownB buffers perfect out of powershield [the shield drop animation doesn't even come up!]

Crouch to force low nado to this -> hit inbetween the hitboxes of nado!

its easy

just buffer the move on reaction to the "tink~"

if you're going for the powershield, you'll definitely be able to buffer this out easier then you think you would.

This isn't a real technique guys. Powershields have IASA frames on the shield drop, so if you buffer something it will cancel the shield drop animation. Everything is the same as it has been, this is just an application of that.

The reason it works on nado is because nado hits once every couple of frames. So if you powershield you go through shield hit lag, where you can't do anything, but you can buffer out of. Your shield will drop as soon as nado isn't ticking, and if you buffer a fast move you will hit before the next tick.

So i think our utilt might possibly work with this against high nados, which would be extremely useful to use because our crouch allows us to actually force the powershield against nado. However, I kind of doubt utilt is fast enough because it's vertical hitbox is not 3 frames, it's like 5 or 6 i think

So if i'm understanding right the inputs would be:

crouch/crawl to duck the nado over your head
tap shield forcing you to stand and powershield on frame 1
mash utilt

the utilt can viably come because the side hitbox is what matters.


oh and we can buffer dsmash out of this too. something you normally can't do because it comes out as spotdodge.

****ing ****.

forward smash too but we all know that doesn't work for our character.

the point is people should do it in practice lol

and no if they're nadoing you high I don't think the vertical hitbox of utilt will come out in time, the first hitbox doesn't hit where you need it to. It depends what the gap between nado ticks is

like these 7 frames really do make a difference to people.

even if it isn't new, everyone and their mother is going to be hitting THAT MUCH harder out of perfect shield now that they are aware.

which means we have to work THAT MUCH harder to mix-up our timing :V

and on the nado thing

but the whole point is that we crawl to force them to nado low.

they can't rise fast enough in time to avoid the frame 3 utilt hitbox if they're trying to nado us to begin with.

oh btw the dsmash frame data is confusing, does it come out frame 16 or more?

because if thats true we can dsmash snake after powershielding uptilt LOL FCAS is 19 frames and lucario can do that after powershielding uptilt <3

No it's frame 21, she takes 16 frames to pull out her gun, at that point if you just pressed down smash she'll go into a 5 frame charge release, if you held down A to charge the dsmash she'll start charging from frame 16 onward, and still take the 5 frames at the end of the charge to release

Snake uptilt: Nope
Snake ftilt 1: lol not even close
Snake ftilt 2: maybe
Mk ftilt 3: technically yes but timing is hard because he can mix up the timing
MK dsmash: nope

of course it does.

we should have a list of people we can do it on tho, because thats something you can constantly perfect shield and if they get-up anything instead of attack when you try to PS it you can still punish them with something.

hit A with your foot or something on 2nd controller

powershield it on reaction [there is no prediction involved, if anything its good practice].

react to the TINK
