Best animes i've seen -> Ghost in the Shell, Elfen Lied, FMA, Cowboy Bebop, Mai-HiME. (and NG Evangelion is pretty good if you watched the subbed version. ..ANBU, that's another one you can add to you list of animes that suck *** on t.v.!)


Still haven't seen most of Naruto.. o_O

Same with Bleach.


I have a few mangas too which I really want to finally get around to reading. >.< And I think I might check out Deathnote, since Tomi speaks highly of it so often. What's it about?

yea i have hellsing its like...this vampire hunter guy its alright i guess i havent really watched the whole thing since i have like....umm 4 billion animes cant really watch em all....but also my friend said deathnote was good so i dl'ed that too....i can burn them for u and give to you at jons biweekly..^^

hellsing is about vampires and nazis... do you really need more reason? Few stuff accurately shows how badass vampires can be, but Hellsing does a great job. And while FMA anime is prety good, the manga is pretty much beyond anything else.

Oh and anything past the end of the Gaara series in Naruto sucks. Anime and Maplestory? THREAD DERAILED!

GitS and FMA ftw. I have the FMA manga on my HD but I haven't read it yet. Not done with Elfen Lied yet though. So far it doesn't seem that great. Haven't seen Bleach either how good is it?


Death Note is about a highschool kid (who apparently is hella smart) who finds a book in which, if a name is written, that person end up dying.

Not sure where the story heads but that's the basis for it. Seems like a good manga. I DLed that too.

Delphiki would love Deathnote...It's about a highly intelligent Japanese high school student named Light Yagami...He finds a notebook on the ground, and on the cover it says "DEATH NOTE". And inside the book there are instructions, written in english because it's the most popular language of the planet...and the first instruction says "Whoever's name is written in this notebook shall die." It's a ****ing amazing manga. I say Delphiki would like it because it's a battle of wits between Light Yagami, soon to be known as "Kira", and the best detective on the planet, who is known to us only as "L". For those who are sick of the stereotypical "i fight you i get my *** kicked i ascend i win" mangas and animes, this is one for the bad guys. Oh HELL YEAH.

death note is incredibly cool when it gets to the conclusion of L vs Kira but after that it kinda drags on I havnt read it in a long time even though im on like volume 98 out of 108

ragnarok is a manwha because its korean. Its very interesting and was the first manga I collected. its based on the ragnarok norse mythology. although they stopped making it to work just on the game :/ it only goes to chapter 10.

Great Teacher Onizuka. very funny. about a guy who becomes a teacher because he wants to get with the school girls.

naruto manga is cool.I read it every week.
FMA is good as well.
Gantz is a really cool manga. in the first chapter the main guy gets killed and appears in a hotel where he is ordered to kill aliens to get points. not for kiddies. AKA BOOBS
there are a lot of free mangas you just have to find them. I would go into others but those would be about other genres.

evangelion dubbed is really good what is wrong with it? ive seen bad dubbed anime but that is not one. Also i went to spike spencers interview at that sac anime thing which was the day after the smash tourney

youtube ftw. I'd suggest you read the manga though, because they leave a couple super intellectual parts out of the anime...but, eh.

no megatokyo is a manga made by 2 people from america which started as a webcomic. never read it. looks kinda meh to me.

GTO has in my opinion a much better art style. but again ive never read mega tokyo it just looks a little generic. but I do still recommend GTO.

Bleach fillers just ended for the anime and they are airing the manga "Arancer/Vaizard Arc"...

Naruto fillers end Feb 15. and they will run in cordination with the manga starting with the "Puppet Master Arc" to get things started...no Kakashi Gaiden...perhaps it will be made into a movie.

Death Note is running through currently and im enjoying it.

The greatest Manga which is still running and ever created. Is Wild Animal Publications: "Berserk".

Though I wouldn't suggest Berserk to anime who isn't mature enough to handle the content inside. It is by far one of the most extreme and harsh realitys of a savage world. It's the story of a Nihilistic Mans quest of self destruction and revenge. Plus it has alot of graphic and disturbing content; but at the same time it's the greatest story I've ever read.

For anyone who watched the anime series and felt unsatisfied with it ending unfinished, you should pick up Berserk from the internet or buy the legit versions being reprinted by Dark Horse comics.
