just like the description says, the BRoom accepts respected posters who write intelligently.... and $hit like that LOL. i used to be all over these forums, see my post count? yayuhz. i'm pretty slack about my posts these days, but i used to put a lot of effort into them.
if they recognize you as a good poster on the entire forum, they might let you in. but they don't focus on the smash scene... in that case, you should try for the smash back room, which i no longer (but once did) have access to.
anyways yeah, just like cavesonic said, MOMO FAN CLUB LIVES ON!
i will go with HMW next time.

oh btw...Tomi...i went M2 in low tier
but this tournament went on too late....i was just about broken partway thru singles...by the time i got to Dark Mike's Samus i basically forfeited (he thoroughly manhandled me) what i think we can do next time to go faster than the slowness of low tier and the dumbness of crews is something that was a lot of fun at GOH...and that is LOW TIER TEAMS

The tournament running late was mostly my fault. I had assumed the tournament was being co-organized, but as it turns out, when I took a break there was noone picking up the slack.
Oh, and the 'dumbness of crews' is dependent upon HOW SERIOUS THE CREW MEMBERS TAKE THE TOURNAMENT.
Finally, the decision of what special events will take place is up to TC1, and I believe he is planning on doing crews again on the 13th.

I agree with everything simna said. After I faced Sheridan in singles I was basically done with the tourney. Went on way longer than it should have but hey, what are you gonna do. And low tier teams would make me happy (TEAM DITTO aka where's my meep at??).
the dumbness of crews being that there are so few crews...none of which are all-star draft crews(which imo is the only time having few crews is ok)

i dont run or organize tournaments
but i would put something like LTT or Crews last, as they are the more casual, fun events. after a long day of smashing rarely do people want to be trying to play 100% as hard as they can, and Low Tier is a good time to have fun playing characters you might not usually play. Not to mention there are people who wont want to do Low tier and so they can leave after singles.
either that or have the tournament start early and play Low tier first.

I think its better to give people the option of playing a tournament that doesnt really mean much (especially when you look and see all the luigis and links that dominated, both characters are mid tier pretty much). it seems silly not to put your heavy hitters (doubles and singles) first so you dont get burnt out before you play in those.but thats just my opinion. its your tournaments, you have every right to run em how you want.

Today's little smash thing with Tyde, CNIP, DM, ABM, and TC1 was pretty fun guys. Here's my minimal shoutouts list.
TC1: Sorry about beating you. Today was just an off day for you, that's all.
DM: The matches we have are always fun. Did you notice how I started to keep up with your styles toward the end? No Samus? ;_;
Tyde: MGS3 looks fuggin awesome. When I finish this Imma go play it. Jiggs + Kirby = ZOMG! OWNED! ABM is crazy. Seriously, if he spent some time on it and actually tried, he'd be up there with us in no time. ABM and I were pwning in teams for a while.
CNIP: You don't get a shoutout because you're lame and don't have a swf account. Loser.

depending on how far along you are in developing skills, its sometimes good to switch characters. I know that i switched characters a bunch of times in the past, it helped me learn different play styles and develop different techniques that made me quicker overall.
but in the long haul, you will most likely have to stick with a character to develop it better.

I rarely do shoutouts but since we are taking a break from tc1's biweeklies until next year.
tc1-thanks for running all these tournies. you may take **** from tournys running slow or whatever, but if people don't like how they are run, then dont have to go. These are always fun events, and we arnt just confined to the garage. Also props to your mom, or whoever made dinner for us 2 biweeklies in a row (or however long its been) Sac is a lot better because of these.
cave sonic, also, anyone else who doesn't like peach-I will continue to dsmash, you should learn to get out of it.
Also cave, I could have picked fox, but peach ***** yoshi's CC. I take every advantage I can in tourney.

Why are people complaining about the length of the tourney? Seems to me the more smash the better, unless you have an important surgery date or something.

Yeah...see, I practice Jiggs against Melvin's Marth, and it takes a lot of skill in spacing to even dodge Marth's attacks, let alone hit him. My fox has been becoming less and less agressive, more passive and defensive. I wait for you to make a mistake, then you pay for it. It's fun resting people out of their rolls. :D
