Actually, Nintendo and Camelot share the rights, but they are not a 2nd party developer. However, Issac is still 2nd party.Golden Sun belongs to Camelot Software Planning.
They, of course, belong to Nintendo though; they've worked with Nintendo to produce titles like Mario Tennis, Mario Golf etc. Technically, Nintendo helped and published the game.
Actually, It does.At the credits of Golden Sun, I think it says that Isaac and Golden Sun music is copyrighted by Nintendo... Not like it matters, but I just wanted to point that out.
Welcome to the Isaac thread, we seem to be getting lots of new supporters lately which is good to see. I would love to see Ragnarok as a move too, it's a shame that he will probably be the only GS rep assuming they get one at all because the move possibilities are virtually endless.I would love for Isaac to be in Brawl.
Also, I love OP's incorporation of the move Ragnarok. It was my favorite skill in the game, as it dropped an immense shimmering sword out of the sky. Very cool.
Let us all pray for Isaac's inclusion.
I agree with that statement. Golden Sun blows 2D Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest out of the water. The only 2D jrpg the rivals Golden Sun is Chrono Trigger.Originally Posted by IGN Review
this game could arguably be one of the best 2D-based Japanese RPGs created for any system. And yes, that includes Final Fantasy.
What happens on Saturday? We'll find out Saturday, though....
A Japanese magazine, CoroCoro, will release an issue that supposedly contains either the full roster or the starting roster. I'm betting starting myself, since I very much so doubt Sakurai/Sora/Nintendo would allow a full roster leak still more than a month from even the Japanese launch, but you never know. What happens on Saturday?
From what I've heard, its a reliable magazine which has given out such information for Nintendo games before. One of the Japanese-speaking folks on these boards mentioned that it had released some similar info for Melee back in the day, but I forget just what it was. Theres a thread about it in the general discussion section if you want to know the full story, started by Samurai Panda himself. And how does corocoro know what the starting roaster/full roaster is?...
Considering the content of recent updates, those 34 updates could just as well be pages 1 through 34 in the game manual. Here's hoping Monday's update isn't a health and safety warning, and Tuesday's isn't how to turn on the Wii.The way I see it, either way we're going to get some good updates coming up. (34 more updates until Japanese release)
The remaining updates can't be THAT terrible...
*quiets down before Sakurai hears*
...you're joking, right? Swords are the single most common weapon for him (and Garet) to wield. He even starts with one as his first weapon, and his image that represents your party when you were moving about the game has a sword sheath hung across his back. Yeah there were axes and maces he could use too, but not in anywhere near the quantity there were swords. When did Isaac get a sword anyways? I played through 1 and a bit of 2, and I never recalled him having a sword.
Are we... talking about he same Isaac? Are you thinking Ivan? When did Isaac get a sword anyways? I played through 1 and a bit of 2, and I never recalled him having a sword.
